But in any case, they'll show us plenty to like about Molly if indeed she is the F2. It may not come until the last few episodes, but it'll come.
These are very good editing posts and discussions! Please include them in the editing thread so that they don't get lost in the shuffle....

Just in passing, though, it is my experience based on the show and what I know about human nature that people tend to side with the person with whom they themselves can most easily relate or with whom in real life they are most attracted.

For instance, the artsy, free spirited, unconventional and rebel people lined up with the exotic Moana. The kind of posters who like "off the wall" people liked the quirky Estella over the cute, vivaceous Kelly Jo. People who think virgins are goody-goodies instantly turned off against Sadie, etc.
People who have tattoos lined up in sympathy and defense to the onslaught of criticism against Bevin, etc.

Sometimes I slip into thinking that something might be real about this show and its characters. So when I fall for the "romance" of the show's premise, the characters' interviews don't match up, even though much of what they say can be interpreted to be merely attempts to preserve the suspense and secrecy of the finale.

It's a soap opera, and it's better than AMC and Grey's Anatomy, because supposedly it is about real people and real, true love and romance. And, I may like some of the characters, and may like some of the actors' real lives off-camera.

But it's not real.

This reminds me of a combination of Lorenzo (I decided two hours before the FRC) and Baldwin ("I love you" to the final two), and we know how those couples ended up. Is this a precursor to this season?

To be fair, objective, and realistic, although he keeps smiling big and seems very positive when asked about being in love, there are 2 or 3 things to which if we found out it didn't work out ( as in P-LO) we could point:

1. "I fell in love with 2 of them", the whole bit about his heart, and it was (only) that morning that he decided.

2. Fleiss's use of "had" instead of "has" in his interview when referring to whether "this one" would make it to the altar. (Don't know for sure even which relationship he is talking about, but it is suspicious).

3. Jason said first she was moving to Seattle, then when asked he dodged that part of the question and answered they were going to take things slowly in the real world, then he came back the other day and said he WAS getting married.

This is when a good entertainment reporter comes in and asks about that!

ITA. They may as well have a bot reading these lines off a teleprompter it gets so old.
I don't even believe the crying over the balcony scenes they show in the scs. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut up onions under his eyes prior to shooting that scene or made him do retakes over and over while meanwhile telling him to think of some horrible tragedy that did happen or could happen in his life in order to make him cry. That crying thing is another ploy they used to death.

I long for the day the protagonist says something like "don't let the door hit you on your way out!" It was pretty darn good when Amanda called Matt a D-bag! We need more reality and they can spare the sugary sweet saccharine.

This may be the very reason, I can't "believe" in all hype this season, that Jason is really any different than all of the others. I think I feel this way primarily because everyone is saying, oh they are going to show the "love story" from beginning to end. Ok if that is the case, then why is Jason backpeddling in some interviews? Why would Fleiss say had instead of has? I know someone said it could be a typo...but if that is the case, shouldn't it be corrected? And the old I waited till the last minute to pick routine...come on, IF this was the season to end all seasons....they could have let him come up with a different line to address that formidable decision resting on his shoulders.
The simple fact that Jason is completely toeing party lines, gives me the indication that it is all for ratings and in 6 months, he again, will be added to the wall of shame. It only stands to reason.

Just when I thought I was properly jaded , I watched Jason's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. Jason was SO relaxed and happy (oh! he's really in true love! probably is spending quality time with F1 and has the hideous filming nightmare ended, makes sense). Jason came across as a happy, real guy, and handled Jimmy's jibes very well. I thought "hmmm, maybe it's real".

But then, for all I know, Kimmel is one of his favorites. Jimmy can be very funny. And then I found out later that Jason was over the moon about meeting Clint Eastwood backstage, after Clint's wife recognized Jason "Honey, this is the guy I've been telling you about".

If another poster is correct, this is the interview where Jason said that he was in love with 2 women at the same time, stayed up all night before the FRC and only made his decision that morning. So I guess my brain went into subconscious mode at that point.

But it was enough to post about it later, without remembering which interview it was.

Time will tell...

We know that is a crock. DeAnna decided on Jesse waaay before that morning. You could tell she wasn't into either Jeremy or Jason on the fantasy dates. She was all over Jesse but had her hands in her lap and kept opening their eyes when the other guys kissed her.

Re: Screencaps B13 ****spoilers****

I am also a newbie but have been lurking with ya'll for sometime. One thing I want to say real quick is that this is the friendlest board I have seen. I stop going to the other one because of the poor behavior. I have noticed want appears to be "plants" or "moles" and they are handled so appropriately. Now, I rewatched ep 1 last night and I did notice Melissa in Jason's vacinity or the room he was in or the small group so I agree that she got 1 on 1 with him, also I noticed that Megan said she was voting for her favorite or something like that who was Melissa and I think Megan like a lot of the ladies really liked Melissa but saw things we did not. Anyway I am excited to be on board and even though I am in my 50's and have a tat, I hope I'm welcome.
