I think he's trying too hard. I can't see the suits picking him.

In his favor, the suits prefer Re-treads because they know exactly how they will look and act in front of the cameras, whether they will be resistant or cooperative in terms of following directions, etc. They got more Texas Testosterone than they like with Brad, obviously! They picked an outsider, and he did exactly as he pleased.

But I can't see him getting it.

I thought I read on this board (was it Ron that posted it or someone else??) that Jesse bucked them all the way.....they would never make him a bachelor after the (reported) attitude he displayed. Granted, Deanna was found out to be quite the diva, but look how that turned out. IF and that's a huge IF, ABC wants this series to continue and have any positivity connected to it, they need to start with this season and give the viewer what they want. If I want to watch a crapfest I'll watch Flavour Flav or the Brett Michaels show(s)

I would've preferred Jason find love in his own hometown and connected with someone who he didn't meet among 25 women during a 6 week period.

As long as they don't do a Bachelor with Jesse, I'm good - I won't watch that.
My personal favorite was Jeremy. But I am really glad that he didn't become the bachelor. I hope he can find love in real life.

I am a little surprised that Jason was willing to be the Bachelor after his humiliating experience proposing to Deanna. I kind of hoped that he would also decide to pursue love in his private life. Someone always ends up getting terribly hurt on this show. I can't see Jason wanting to hurt anyone the way he was hurt.

If they ever do a Bachelor with Jesse, well, count me out for that. I have no interest in seeing him anytime soon.

Jason originally applied to be on the bachelor before he tried out for DeAnna's season. I guess that's the first thing some newly divorced guys think to do. He got over DeAnna quickly enough. The only person who seemed to take a while to heal was Jeremy because even Jesse, who'd supposedly found his soulmate, hooked up with Holly faster than a speeding bullet.

I know this is OTS but has it been confirmed that Jesse and Holly have hooked up?

From what I read, Jeremy was ready to be the next Bachelor if they asked as soon or before Jason.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know that Jason originally applied to be on the bachelor before he came on the Bachelorette. That's interesting.

I do agree that Jeremy was the one who took longer to get over Deanna. That's another reason I didn't want him to go on this show. I thought that if he just resumed his private life, it would be easier for him to put this whole thing behind him.

Yeah, he saw his friend Bevin on it and decided he wanted to give it a try.

I would have LOVE LOVE LOVED it if Jeremy was chosen to be the Bachelor. He was only a little boring on the B'ette because Deanna only expects to be adored 24/7 that the poor guy can't be himself. Deanna herself is so dimwitted that she can have a normal conversation with her, its all about their deceased mothers.

Imagine the possibilities if he dates funny and witty gals. He probably likes smart and sexy gals who mind their grammar and has a solid career like he does. I can still remember how he laughs at Deanna's verbal mishaps LOL! It was so refreshing to see him laugh for a change.

Its harder to suspend my disbelief with Jason as The Bachelor primarily because he's a dad. Its harder to imagine a woman at a prime of her life who wants to haul her butt to live in a gloomy state and be a stepmom. Ooops I love Seattle, just don't want to live there. It is just a stretch for women like me, a childless, career minded, young woman to fantasize about Jason. My mom is a marriage counselor and 9/10 of her clients are having difficulties in being a step parent. My girlfriends and I have never fantasized to be future (evil) step moms sorry.

Now Jeremy.... he's perfect. A handsome lawyer, intelligent and sexy. He can oil my motor anytime.

    Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments

I know that alot of people are thinking that the powers that be are going to give us the "love story" this season because of the big disappointment of last season with DeAnna. Here's the thing though, after Brad's season (which some deemed a complete flop and a trainwreck ~ personally I loved it because it was FINALLY real reality tv) we got Matt. The thought was the same, after Brad's season perhaps Fleiss and co will show us the real "love story". BUT that did not happen. Instead we got even more of a fake reality tv show than we had before. After Matt came DeAnna, again another flop. So exactly why is it that people are thinking that we will finally see a real "love story" this time? To me it's all about ratings and drama, at least that is the way that Fleiss thinks, and the best way to have those two are to have the suspense of people not knowing right off the bat who the F1 is. I see nothing changing this time around and that Fleiss will stick to his MO. Then again perhaps I am the only one to think this way.
