So good to see you back posting! Hah, I have to admit I've gone thru my share of grieving ~ and I couldn't even watch the finale! I would have loved to hear your input on alot that's been discussed the past couple of days. Some individuals don't understand why people are still angry. I will always believe this was a set-up!

Thank you for posting what you've heard about Molly's family's reaction! That's exactly what I would have expected, given the current media buzz and everyone caught with egg on their face! The media has enabled Jason to become more transparent. The fact that he fell in love with 3 women in 8 months, and other sorted information that's come to light.
As a parent, I would be mortified!

This doesn’t surprise me. A Reality Television blogger thinks that Reality Steve took a bad situation and made it worst. I think I would have done exactly what Melissa is doing. The only difference is that I would have kicked Jason in the you know where. But that’s just me!

I think these relationships tend to be easier to get over because regardless of how intense they may seem, they happen over such a short span of time. Also, in Melissa's case, the betrayal she must have felt after a month or more of being lied to, then to have the subject of that lie, a/k/a, Jason's new relationship, thrown in her face like that. I'm sure there is almost a sense of relief now that it's over.

It came from my friend who knows Jason; the one who first told me that Jason and Melissa's relationship was shot - back when everyone still thought this was a love story - and who told me shortly thereafter that "he's with the other one now."
So he's a reliable person. I just didn't swoon over hearing it only because it was expected.
For what it's worth, he also said that Jason is really crashing right now, personally, because he completely underestimated how negatively this would all be presented.

If I was your friend, I would have held him down for you and then kicked him after you did. Then we would have went and had cocktails to celebrate your emancipation.

Thanks for the info sdl. Unfortunately none of it is surprising. The good news for him is that eventually all of this will blow over and he will return to a normal life. I will be shocked if Molly and he make it but if they do, then best of luck to both of them. They would both be wise to retreat from the public life and try to get back to some normalacy.

Okay, so maybe Jason isn't the smartest in the world, but how in the heck did he expect anything differently???? Were we supposed to look into Molly's eyes and fall in love too and give him a pass at what he did? Oh wait, he thought that no one would ever know how low he stooped. It would be easier for us to not talk about it if he would shut up and stop telling differing stories of "what really happened." He is either a lot dumber than I thought, or he is just really naive.

No he was manipulated by TPTB and he never dreamed that they wouldn't back him up.. He believed their crapola that he was the "golden boy" come to save the day. He saved the franchise from going under alright..in doing so he ruined his own character.

Putting it all together from what Fleiss has said, and he only bothers to protest slightly, with the sleuthing stats and the editing, I think it is more of a matter of when and how it was presented to Jason to make the F2 the F1 as the theme rather than if it was done.

Big hint: Melissa said he changed immediately after they returned from NZ.
IMO, in his mind he had fulfilled his obligation to the producers to make Melissa think she was F1. In his mind he had already switched to Molly and how to make that part of the operation begin to work.

BTW, you were Jillian's #1 fan. She is now in the hands of Fleiss. God bless her. You might want to start doing whatever form of positive thinking you personally feel for her beginning now.
