I completely agree with the bolded section. Again, folks, it is a reality show. To continue to bash them, doesn't make any sense....... IMHO, Melissa isn't as much of a victim as she was portrayed to be on AFTR1.

Funny you should say that........
I have heard that Molly's family is horrified by this mess, and not big fans of Jason or the relationship.
Not unexpected, I suppose.

I was waiting for this to get out, I knew it would be only a matter of time they would be disgusted by the whole thing.

I know MANY women who have been deeply in love, were raising the children, and totally loving their relationship until the man walked out. Those women, in an effort to validate themselves and not feel like total losers immediately started dating. Is it right? Is it wrong? IDK... but it is part of the process for some.

You of all people know I tried very hard to be impartial this season and sleuthe out the answers.

I believe that if we were ever to find out all the answers or even have the ones submitted verified beyond refutation, we would find that Melissa was much more of a victim than we saw on the ATFR.

Putting it all together from what Fleiss has said, and he only bothers to protest slightly, with the sleuthing stats and the editing, I think it is more of a matter of when and how it was presented to Jason to make the F2 the F1 as the theme rather than if it was done.

Big hint: Melissa said he changed immediately after they returned from NZ.
IMO, in his mind he had fulfilled his obligation to the producers to make Melissa think she was F1. In his mind he had already switched to Molly and how to make that part of the operation begin to work.

BTW, you were Jillian's #1 fan. She is now in the hands of Fleiss. God bless her. You might want to start doing whatever form of positive thinking you personally feel for her beginning now.

sdl... I would expect that any family would not be happy if their daughter were involved in this mess... Where did you "hear" this? Is it a reliable source or merely a poster who would, rightly so, believes that no parents could like this???

She also stated that it was almost immediately that the "chemistry" (jasons word) had changed and Jason pulled away, so she had some time to realize that it wasn't going to work. Once he admitted on TV that all along it was Molly I'm sure it was so very easy for her to completely cut the emotional ties that she seemed to be hanging on to by a thread. And really can you blame her..look at that guy and look at Jason..geez jason couldn't even carry his shoes.

But isn't that the way it seems with all of those women who are rejected in the end? Jenni's ex met her at the airport. Melissa's had more than 6 weeks to try to move on since the AFTR1, and it sounds like even longer if Jason removed himself emotionally very early. I think she was hurt that she thought he loved her and then did a complete 180 almost immediately. She'd been left wondering what went wrong for weeks. That had to be painful. I also don't think she's "playing the victim". She has a right to be angry because he wasn't honest.

I don't agree that we should be hating Jason and Molly at all, and I hope it works out for them. But you'd think they'd have some regret regarding Melissa's pain and their own deceitfulness.

Love that! I better email that to my daughters. Can I use that as an excuse for not cleaning up after my husband (or my son or myself) for the last 10 days? "Honey, I know I haven't vacuumed or cleaned the bathrooms, but I don't want to remind you of your mom." Love it!
