ITA completely nennie........I think that sometimes it gets lost in the shuffle but these are real human beings in this situation that some of us seem to not think twice about raking over the coals when it suits us. JMO, of course....

I couldn't agree with you more nennie.........I think through this, some people forget that he is a father with a child that he truely loves and cares for. If there are people in his life that might have reason to say anything on that subject would be the childs mother and possibly Jason's family themselves. In my opinion, we, the public are the last people that should be able to criticize his parenting skills. IMHO, of course......

Just doing a quick google search there are already a lot of single parent resources - I guess he thinks his will fill a void?

Bonnie Hunt did a good bit today on Jason saying he was a single father. She said he's a divorced father who shares 50/50 custody with his ex so they are raising him together. I think raising him 50/50 is something they should be proud of because that is best for Ty.

I hope you are right because that is precisely what he should be doing. Forget Ellen and all the others and go raise your child. He should be his top priority and getting out of the limelight and letting it all die down would be a smart move. This will pass in a week or two.

I didn't know that Jason wasn't showing that he is a good dad. He seems to have lots of play time with Ty......Ty seems to absolutely adore his father and the connection that has been shown between them is absolutely outstanding. It is a shame that there aren't more fathers that show their love for their kids like Jason with Ty. I think it is commendable the connection and obvious love that is between Jason and Ty. IMHO, of course.......

But did he create all of this mess on his own........that is where I find the Melissa interview with Ellen to be very interesting. It makes me think that she knew more about the breakup on the phone before the first AFTR1 than she led us to believe as she was sitting on that stage during it. I just found that info to be interesting as well as the info that she is dating one of her ex's, just like it was scooped on Feb. 12, on the RS thread. IMHO, of course...

I can't believe Jason lies about Molly when she asks and then when she gets on the couch he says, "P.S. It's Molly." How unkind to handle it when she's about to be taped. I guess Jason wanted to make sure the show got he full effect of her humiliation. That is when she calls him a bastard but they edited out what he said.

Yes, he did. He proposed and clearly wasn't ready. If you are sobbing over a balcony for one woman you shouldn't go propose to another. Chalk that up to a terrible decision. He unfortunately then has contact with Molly about getting back together.

They were broken up mid-January and after that both could do what they want with who they want. He could have waited just a few more weeks and done it clean. Jason didn't want to risk losing Molly. My guess is show might have quickened the process by telling him Molly was considering being the Bacherlorette. Still doesn't make it right. In the end they all have to live with what they did. Will it be worth it for Jason? We will see in time.

I guess what I was referring to is that according to her, she already knew the breakup was going to happen before she walked onto the stage for the AFTR1. At some time, she apparently started seeing someone else......I didn't think that was allowed till the final show was done. Correct me if I am wrong but IMHO, that is what was said during the Ellen interview. Again, all is IMHO, of course.......
