My final commets are: 1) Very disappointed I wasted brain cells on this show. 2) Jason reminds me of George Bush. (The way he looks, walks and his facial expressions).

Very insightful post. I agree with everything you said. I now have to put some closure to this travesty of a season as well. I have not yet given up on the show (maybe that's stupid I know! ) but at least it is fun to watch the sleuthers in action!

Jillian was never my favorite. However, for me, she is way more deserving of another chance than DeAnna ever was...so I will end up watching it. I just really wish that Melissa does have her happy ending as well. If, by chance she could ever give this process another go (although I wouldn't blame her if she doesn't), I would love for her to be a Bacherlorette.

All in all, thank you to the regular Fort'ers for another journey, albeit a very stormy one.

Adults know that there is such a thing as delayed gratification. You work for what you want, but you understand that the pay-off might be delayed until the timing is right.

Even if everything was on the up and up with the scripting, Jason had a signed contract that said he was to have no contact with former contestants until after the FRC. It also said he was to stay with the F1 until the FRC had aired.

If he decided that the relationship between Melissa and him was not working, then the prudent thing to do would have been to follow his contract. After the FRC, he could have broken up quietly and privately with Melissa and then contacted Molly.

He would have used his head, and his heart would have followed. The results would have been the same except they were delayed.

He would not have all of this controversy and upheaval.

I'm wondering if Jason heard that Fleiss was wooing Molly to be the next Bachelorette and that's why he could not wait. I'm not judging Jason's decison process, one way or another, I'm just wondering if that was the catalyst for all this "controversy and upheaval".

How many of the show's ex-players that Fleiss is rallying to Jason's defense are still under contract to ABC?

How many more will we see? Posting in message boards speaks to their desperation, IMO.

Whew. I am glad this season is over. Now that all is said and done my final impression of the season can be summed up in one word: tacky.

I found him kissing everything that moved tacky. I thought the tent date so early in the season was tacky. I thought the hot tub scene with Jillian when he knew it wasn't her tacky. I found him proposing to Melissa moments after having an emotional breakdown over Molly tacky. I found him dumping Melissa on tv tacky. I found him making out with Molly minutes (or in real time maybe an hour later) tacky. I found Molly being willing to caress his leg and make out with him supposedly moments after she finds out he dumped her for Melissa then dumped Melissa for her tacky. I firmly believe and will probably always believe that they were in contact while he was engaged to Melissa and I find that tacky. And I thought the fact that Molly stated on the ATFR 2 that she was glad that things happened the way they did and she would not change a thing without giving any sign of empathy for Melissa tacky. I think the fact that a friend of Melissa forwarded those emails and they got leaked to the public is tacky. So that is the impression I am left with. It was one heck of a tacky season.

The only thing I don't find tacky is the scrambling they are all doing now while they point fingers at each other and change their stories over and over. That I find amusing.

When I was 32 I made some MAJOR life mistakes. I followed my heart without using my head for one minute. I hurt other people. I thought of myself only. I had children, there was no excuse for my behavior. I was a declared Christian brought up in a home of loving kindness. How do you explain decisions like that? I don't think you can. you can acknowledge your wrong thinking - you can ask forgiveness and most importantly you can live the rest of your life with purpose and integrity. I have tried to do these things. I am 61 years old now. I still have the love of the man I chose over every objection society had to offer. We are growing old together not without pain but in spite of it.

Jason could be a victim of this emotional disease. He acts irrationally - he is always crying and in a state of emotional distress. He has other issues, trust me. He may well have finally attached himself to the love of his life. But he will pay for the journey the rest of his life.

A wiser and older model.
