I don't know how to do those quotes brought over from other threads in the blue boxes, but this one belongs to Jax and was on Sharon's thread. I wanted to comment on here because I thought it would be the better place...

Sometimes the FIR is not what it seems. If you will remember, we kept waiting and kept waiting for something to result from Amanda receiving the FIR and beautiful speech from Matt. What we found out later was that he had no idea who to give it to so somebody selected Amanda for him to give the FIR to. Now I have to wonder about the rest of them through the seasons. How many of FIRs were the Bachelor's choice, and how many of them for whatever reason were producer generated?
It seems like each season I find out more and more that has been producer generated--it almost reminds me of a tour through universal studios.

Ok, bringing this back to the topic of the thread...

The words "she's back"....

Could it be that because somebody eliminates herself from the show early on in the proceedings (after Jason picked her as the final 15) that TPTB bring/allow one of the rejects back...so that Jason still has 15 to choose from?

It appears to be early in the show that someone says this....
I don't think it is Deanna because it is rumoured that De comes back in NZ when there would only be 3 girls and they are separated by the time of the FDs.

Could the "she's back" just be the return from the 2 on 1 date where one girl goes home? there is always much speculation from the ladies as to who will go and who will stay and they always rush to see whose bag the limo driver is coming to pick up ... the voices don't always match the exact footage, so I think the part where all the girls are running, is to see whose luggage is getting picked up JMO

Jason is clearly a family man. Here is my challenge. How much of a family man could he be if he chooses a single mom and asks her and her child to say goodbye to their family - grandparents, etc.

But how many married couples with children of their own move away from their families?? And all the girls knew what the deal was when they signed up for this season.

I would expect that there is a single dad connected with the single women. Now it may be one thing for couples with children to move away from grandparents and uncles, but moving away from the child's father is really hard...

Yes, I agree with that.

Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments

I have been wondering about Stephanie. I wonder about her being able to leave her community when they are building a Community center in the name of her late husband. Seems to me it would be very difficult to cut those ties.

Usually in situations like this the community would see it as an honor for her to go and represent them. Usually they would encourage her and then surprise her with their progress on her return. That's what my experience has been with things like this. I don't think her leaving would be a problem.

It's for a local YMCA. He's been deceased for around 4 years. I think the community would be supportive.
