I found it - this is how I answered somebody several days ago:


Do not forget that DeAnna is under contract to ABC for at least a year. They and Fleiss (the man himself) have the power to refuse the necessary permission that she has to have in order to accept gigs.
It was brought to my attention by a source who has been known to be reliable in the past that Fleiss has most likely already denied her one opportunity? Why? Who knows? Maybe just because he wanted to do or maybe to get back at her for her behavior in any/all things connected to Bachelorette 4. The exact reasoning may be in question, but whether or not it happened is in less doubt.

It's my opinion that whether or not she wanted to appear, whether or not it was a free vacation to a beautiful spot , she was nevertheless over a barrel and really had no choice but to do as she was told.

It's my opinion that it is so to speak "a tempest in a teapot" - a dramatic ploy used to cause a reaction in us, draw in outraged viewers, and increase ratings. She will give Jason "good" advice, he will pick whoever he was going to pick anyway, and that will be that.


Also, we think that breaking the hearts of all of those people has maybe finally gotten to Jason, and he is having trouble with the upcoming FRC.

Stephanie seems to be the person that goes out of her way to make someone feel better. She is very girly-girl, like Stephfan indicated!

She's the one doing the cartwheel on what I think is the Malibu date with Jason.

Oh, and DeAnna is only giving advice at the very end. Tons of splice and dice to make it seem otherwise.

I really did not like the girls voting off someone. As it turned out, Megan probably won't be a good match for Jason, and she was wrong to turn around and swear at the girls... but what if they had voted off the one that was their biggest competition, the one that they thought Jason would most like... Or it could have ended up being someone that 5 girls didn't like, but everyone else loved. It was simply added to get the girls catty and mean right out of the gate. Fleiss trying to cause drama... I didn't like it.

Malibu Date: Stephanie?
Boutique Date: 8 girls - 1. Sharon, 2. Kari, 3. Molly, 4. Naomi, 5. Erika, 6. Lauren, - I can't see who the girl is in the red dress but the hair is brown or black and fairly long so it could be Nikki or Raquel or Shannon.

I thought I was going to like Megan, but the cussing or swearing was definitely not classy and she seemed a bit tipsy. I felt like I was watching Rock of Love, not the Bachelor. Besides being a Mom of a little guy, she doesn't seem to have much in common with Jason.

Out the gate first impressions, Jillian and Melissa are my favorites (and probably Jason's too)

You're not the only one who feels the same way! I don't catch up on the Bach/B'ette during the off-season so I really appreciate all you fine sleuthers who do. Heck, I didn't even know Jason was the new Bachelor until about a month ago, about the time you guys nailed down the F1.
