Since I was watching for Melissa, I thought she came across fairly natural and expressive. Being on camera may just make her tend to act more animated than others. Stephanie was dignified but seemed too old for him.

Which is interesting. I would say that too, but she ended up being picked over Nikki in the 2 on 1 date. Plus, the Malibu date and the steering the boat time. Maybe he needed someone not part of all the drama...

When Jason was off searching for Nikki to give her the FIR, someone said they thought he was going to give it to Melissa - so they did have time together and it must have been good for others to notice.

Since we believe that Melissa is F1, the question begs to be asked: Did she have 1-1 time with him, and they just didn't show us? If so, why? hmmmm

I tend to think that he spent his time trying to get to know as many as possible, and it is a little hard to believe that he didn't talk to her at all.

Oh, I agree! It's just people were expecting to see something.

I really liked Stephanie and I could see Jason growing to have affection and respect for her. But honestly, I just can't see them ending up together.

As I said, I've been away from FORT for some time, and there is alot to catch up on. Can someone please tell me WTH DeAnna's doing in this season? And any idea why Jason is sooo upset on the balcony in one of the previews tonight.

Sometimes folks can grow on you. My thoughts mirrored yours initially, but she seems much more laid back in some of the previews, and I think I saw her in a pony tail [which goes a long way to making her look less severe]

I can already see the drama in this. He dates her a good while, and it looks like something is developing only to get to a point where he feels he is forced to tell her that although she is truly one of the most amazing people he has ever known and he is respects her so much for overcoming all of the tragedy in her life, he does not have the right kinds of feeling for her for the rest of their life - and so on. It will be a real sad story by that time.
