I noticed that too!

I thought it went by so fast and we didn't really get to know Melissa.

IA! I think that may be a first ~ a potential F1 not getting any alone time or 1 on 1 with Jason nor getting any time with even a group of girls and Jason! Really weird. However, we did get to see her personality and she is just what Jason is looking for!

Yeah I was really disappointed that we didn't get to know Melissa more. I am wondering if they are trying to hide her and let the love story evolve slowly, so that the normal veiwer wouldn't be able to pick her out as the final one.

I am not sure I am liking Melissa's initial edit too much, she seemed WAY too giddy. MUCH too much facial expressions which tend to lean on immaturity, at some point I saw a little Brittany Spears in her demeanor and voice. Wonder if that was done on purpose.

as far as megan, I hope she has a chance to vindicate herself a little. she came across very trashy, and 'hard" IMO

I picked my favorite based on actions, that now would be jillian and even Kari.....although, It may not happen. She was the most "fun" yet mature. IMO Stephanie is WAY too old for him in manner and maturity, she needs herself a southerner to fill those shoes. With her life experiences, I hope she will find herself someone who is really serious about commitment. I also liked Lauren.

I hope Melissa 'grows' on me....

She definitely has that "spark" that Jason really likes. I like her so far, hope they don't hide her like they did with Jesse in Deanna's season.

The editing for Melissa is very odd. There was absolutely no 1-1 connection shown which is a given for the F1 on Meet and Greet night. If we had no screencaps or anything to go by but editing, I wouldn't put Melissa in the F4 at this point. That is how very hidden she is from an editing point of view. It is not that they didn't show her on the camera some. We saw her little home spot, and they would flash on her face now and then, but they did not let us get to meet her tonight. She was shown only slightly more than some of the others. The one thing that can be said for her is that other than one slightly sour look, there was no negative editing for her.

Very, very odd.....

I agree w/ Bloomers that it really depends upon the individuals involved w/ regard to being ready for marriage--I have friends who dated in college and got married in their mid-20s and are doing fine. What somewhat bothers me, though, is the age--and maturity--gap between a 24-25 year old and 32 yo (Jason's age). And it particularly raises a red flag for me b/c Jason's first wife wasn't ready for motherhood. And then Jason proposed to DeAnna who said she was ready for marriage and kids but then (seemed to have) changed her mind. It could turn out fine but it also could be indicative of a pattern Jason has in picking women who aren't as ready to settle their lives as he obviously is.
