Why exactly does everyone think Melissa is the F1? How is the evidence this year any different than the evidence from last season. If all we have is some rumors and a pinky ring, it doesn't really confirm anything. Does it?[/QUOTE]If you don't ask questions, you don't get answers. ![]() Last seaon we got all kinds of inside info, but for the first time in my experience, it was terribly conflicting as to who was the F1, and even about the F1, it kept changing!! We had no visual evidence as to who the F1 actually was. The only thing we had was the obscure picture of the limo in which you could barely see possibly an eye. It was determined that it was the rejected F2, and it was Jesse. I don't know what happened there, but as we know that wasn't the case. However, the picture was never - never- clear cut like some of the shots that we have this season. This pre-season started out very early with people on one board adamant that they have information that Melissa is F1. Now on here, and especially because we got burned so badly last year , we didn't reject that info, but we approached it much more circumspectly - we questioned their sources and asked for evidence, etc. We never rejected the idea - it was always "if Melissa is F1 as rumor states"... However, we didn't embrace it as the gospel truth without supporting visual evidence either. It was not malicious, just cautious based on experience and good sleuthing techniques. Now, we have been tracking the screencaps as they have come out. Remember we are skeptics, especially after last season! We nailed down F2 ( and you will need to wade through all of the evidence on the Lady in Purple). When the previews came out during the showing of "Sleepless in Seattle", we began looking more closely for F3 shots. What somebody ( on another board- Val ) found was that there was a freckle on the F1's lower arm up a small ways from the left wrist that exactly matches the freckle in the same place on Melissa's arm.One or both of those two petite hugging girls with Jason is in the F3. All of the visual evidence plus the rumor is enough for us to go ahead and concede she is F1. It is kind of like when they concede a state early on election night based on the evidence they already have. ![]()

| Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments Thanks Bloomers! I'm not sure I am sold that Melissa is the F1. (I have a freckle on my arm in that same spot and I'm not even on the show. :0) But now I know where everyone is coming from. Thank you! |

We also know from a co-worker that's posted on another board since early/mid-November that Melissa didn't return to work until Dec. 3, after returning home the day before. This was a week after filming ended. Filming ended right before Thanksgiving. | |

| Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments I also think that his strong attraction to Melissa towards F1 was THE reason that Fleiss got Deanna to come back. (This is a first that where this has happened) Because Deanna and Melissa look so much alike ....even have similar mannerisms- I think it was good to eliminate any possibility of a rebound choice on Jason's part.... NOW hear me on this... they won't show it as such on the show... they will use the Deanna part to boost the ratings after the fact... BUT, the initial REASON for bringing Deanna back IMHO, was to address that possibility.... Read - major PSYCHOLOGIST'S influence on the show. No-bout-a-doubt-it. ![]()

| Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments I have not posted here before and am a little reluctant to do so. I’m not sure if what I have to say is outside the spirit of the show and interests of the board. I have tried, with the limited information available, to develop a profile of the F1 for this season. It is based both on dating and marriage trends within the US population and patterns that seem to hold true for The Bachelor as a show. It also takes account of Jason's comments and desires going into the show. Although I only have a limited number of variables, have only just started working on the profile and the results are far from perfect, I think it has some validity. I am fairly sure that the producers of the show will have used some form of profiling to match Jason with at least some of the bachelorettes. The problem is that although the profile itself is fairly brief, the associated comments and explanation are more than two pages long. I’m not sure whether this is the place, thread or even the forum to post it. Any thoughts? |

Consider as well.....in Trista's wedding segment, they showed Ryan's Bachelor party. Now we know that ABC paid Trista one million dollars and spent 4 million dollars in production cost for that show; nevertheless and regardless of what might have happened, they hired two hoochie mamas to try and lead astray an obviously inebriated Ryan into betraying Trista the night before their wedding. Fortunately for the producers he wasn't interested!

| Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments I would love to see the profiles as well. It struck me that Molly and Melissa are both rather young.....but Molly more so. For some reason, 24 just seems significantly younger to me than 26 (or is she 25?). At 24 you're barely past college age; at 25 you've hit the quarter-century mark. Obviously everyone is different. I can't wait to see their personalities1 |
