Jason said his life was staying at home with Ty

soooo...maybe he is looking for someone with a great career who go out and earn money while he stays home with Ty????

I don't believe that Jason is looking for a stay at home mom for Ty... I think he means someone willing to spend their time with Ty while they have a job. I don't think what job she has matters, just a willingness to be a family with Jason & Ty, which doesn't necessarily mean being a SAHM (until after they have kids of own). I can't see Jason wanting a homebody woman... He wants someone outgoing and who has a spark for life. Or so he's said.

Okay, generally when one is satisfied in their job, they are not looking for the next opportunity to jump for the next thrill. Take Deanna. She had a good job as an estate agent or something. Had her own place, but she really wanted to get into media. She said she wanted to settle down, got the opportunity with Jason but preferred the "free" living of Jesse. She still pursued a career in the media. So on one hand she got what she wants but that is not what Jason wants.

Jason said that though he was adventurous and all that, most of his living is being at home with Ty. So it is likely to be a woman who when she moves to Seatle just picks up a job in her field or like Trista can be a stay at home mom. Not one who is still trying to define herself to know her "niche". Could be any number of the contestants, we will find out.

Trista didn't start out wanting to be a stay-at-home mom (she tried a whole bunch of jobs)...so, I guess it depends on what happens in life. Just like with Trista.

I don't think Jason is looking for anyone to stay home full time with Ty. I think he meant that most of his FREE time is staying home with Ty... not that he means it in a literal sense of being a stay at home dad.

It's really too bad... I think if possible someone should stay home with kids until they get to full time school (many Bellevue/Kirkland area school have all day kindergarten)... But if I was Jason's ex, I wouldn't want some other woman my ex met on TV to be a "stay at home mom" with my son.... No WAY!

If this realtionship is to truly work out, the girl will have to be someone who is open and can easily adjust (without alot of defensive traits) to the "extended" family that will be sure to follow with this relationship

We don't know exactly her role, only that she is active in his life. I don't believe she's released all claims on Ty, so the new gal would have to deal with the ex.

Something must be complicated... because normally the mother keeps the child at least 50% of time... but at this young age I would think for stability sake it would be an every other weekend for the father arrangement... Well Ty is lucky, Jason appears to be a great dad... I just wonder what the story is with mom...

TPTB have kept Ty's birth mom's role pretty silent from everyone. I don't think that Jason has full custody. I am sure that mom more than likely has 50/50 custody, but they don't bring it up. It's not conducive to the show strategy.
