Totally agree on this. How many of these couples have we seen go through this and then break up shortly after. I mean the ones that were sincere. Both Jason and F1 need to take a good deal of time after the show is done airing to really find out if they are meant to be. I would hate to see him have to get divorced again.

Trista's mission was to become rich and famous, and she used The Bachelor and then The Bachelorette as stepping stones. She had her disgustingly lavish wedding televised and paid for by ABC. She and Ryan then had their own reality show (I've heard, anyway) including their baby on it, and frequently appeared and continue to appear (with their child) in posed photographs for feature articles. I'm just waiting for the birth of their second child to be televised (and paid for) on television, and then maybe the conception, entire pregnancy, and birth of their third child. ![]()

It's true that Trista may indeed have financially capitalized on her Bachelorette experience; however, I have always said that she went in determined to find somebody and come out with a husband. I think she was probably ready to settle down when she was in the first Bachelor when she was rejected at F2. They gave her a good group of guys to work with. She had a good time, but you could tell she meant business as she systematically went through the process eliminating those who just didn't do it for her. Even the F3 who most definitely got the obsessed/stalker edit was in actuality really a good guy. When she got down to the F2, it was as though you could see the wheels turning in her head. Charlie was the good-looking, suave hunk she had always dated, but sweet, quiet also good-looking Ryan with his pitiful but loving attempt at poetry had that something and the tenacity to hang in there and just plain court her right up to asking her father for her hand at her parents' visit - which was the first time we had seen that, and it wasn't producer generated either. Although her father was overall much more impressed with Charlie ( the slick, smooth operator imo), that "ask Dad for her hand" impressed the very dickens out of him. It was at that point that Ryan undercut Charlie imo. That is the series that didn't leave many people doubting. Charlie fans who had been swooning all season were disappointed, but even they could see that she had opened up, let Ryan in, and followed her heart. BTW, I am not one of their worshippers, but they did do it up right as far as the show went which is why their names continue to come up.

) between two people enough that I believe they could make a marriage work. The only other two I thought might make it were Byron and Mary, and at least they are still together despite their troubles. I didn't watch Charlie's season but I think he also went about things the right way after the final rose was given, getting to know someone without all the giddy-proposal-marriage thing.

| Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments You know, you're right. She found a gem in Ryan, because he was truly head over heels for her and was ready to marry her immediately. She took the lead and sheer determination and the right choices made it work for her. Lucky girl, he's a gorgeous man! |

I always feel that if the F1 is willing to move, then the relationship will more than likely to last, such as Sarah in Charlie's season. Did Byron move to be with Mary? I didn't watch that season. On the other hand, Tessa and Jennifer (P-Lo's chosen one) never moved and look what happened. That's why I want to hear Melissa is planning to move soon...., oh, well, only time will tell.
