Bloomers, I will take you up on this question. I think it's a good one. I have to agree with you all the way. In fact, the pressure to propose and become engaged by the end of the show is probably the main reason that these relationships never work. There is simply no way you can get to know someone well enough in such a short period of time. It's also important to be able to get back to reality and see if the sparks are still there. I think the mundane details of everyday life sometimes will reveal a lot about a person. When things get boring or stale or unexciting or it's just about doing the laundry, cooking and shopping, then you get to really see the person in a more realistic way. Of course, once there are difficulties and stressful issues then that is the acid test. If you can get through all of this and still want to wake up next to that person in the morning, well then, propose away! | |

So far, has anybody answered "yes"? When interviewed after the flap with Brad choosing no one, Fleiss mentioned that ABC wanted the proposal. I know it is romantic, but I wonder if there was an anonymous survey of the audience Bach fans taken, how many would say that they think the Bach should actually/realistically propose? I think that earlier on when people saw Trista, Andrew, and even Byron, they bought into this unlikely possibility more than they do now. After so many failed relationships, though, I think people are more grounded and realistic about it.

| Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments Since an engagement is NOT a marriage but a time to "test" the relationship, I think that the proposal makes for a lovely ending to the show. |

| Re: B13 Thoughts and Comments It's strange how there really isn't any way to measure what the viewing audience thinks.
