Well it looks like Melissa will get her "first choice" since that will probably "work out" for her now.

I was referring to Molly's alleged affair. But if Jason was talking to Molly with hopes of getting together with her instead of his fiance than yes there's issues there. Where is pursuing one girl while your engaged to another okay?

And it also depends too on if Jason was lying to Melissa about talking with Molly.

And we probably wouldn't care if we weren't having the poor Mel card shoved down our throats. Likely why everyone has jumped on this. She is simply not beyond reproach considering what has been thrown at Jason/Molly for the past week. Those of us who have tried to stay on the fence and treat everyone fairly are now realizing that Mel had her reasons for participating in the Bach and with all that has come out now, it's obvious that it wasn't to find a husband such as Jason. It's sorta like the pot calling the kettle black.

Please. Melissa has done one interview on tv, turned down the Bachelorette and tons of money to do AFRC2. IF all Melissa was interested in fame, she would have milked her dumpee status for all she wants.

Maybe Melissa did go onto the show to get some exposure. So the heck what, lots of people have other reasons for getting on that show, including Jason. As long as Melissa was honest with Jason, and was willing to keep her comittments to Jason, that's all we can ask for.

Perhaps so. But who knows maybe she'll turn to teaching someday after all Who knows. It's not for any of us to judge. It's not like she's a teacher and is getting up to leave her classroom in the middle of the year for this opportunity. I'd have serious issues with her if she was.

I don't think Melissa would have put the teaching thing in her letter, if she wasn't seriously planning on getting her teaching certificate at that time.

Well, when she first appeared somewhat suprised at the turn of events and agreed to Jason's initial suggestion of 'meeting for coffee' to see if there was any chance that a relationship could re-develop between them, but instead they both follow up with immediate passionate kissing only minutes later ... the prior contact is rather easy to conclude. The soap opera acting wasn't very convincing there.

It is totally fair game to question the motives of someone who publically announces she wants to be a teacher and that she is done with reality TV when she decides to go on yet another reality show. Sure, the opportunity presented itself. But, she isn't being forced to accept it. Her objections to doing it were somehow overcome.

I don't know about getting a teaching certificate in Texas but in Ontario (Canada) to be even considered for teacher's college you need an average of 80% coming out of university andmany, many hours of volunteer service working with children. Anyone considering applying to teacher's college would have started doing some volunteer work in schools/libraries, etc.

and if you live near the buffalo border like i do..you can get a teaching certificate in 1 year...write an exam in ontario...and you're done in 1 1/2 years...just like so many gals and guys around my neighbourhood do...

for me that's not the point..the point is..Melissa was never right for Jason...she's 25 yrs old..said all the right things and was chosen as the F1...once Jason changed his mind..she is a victim...and he is a good for nothing cheating b*astard....it is so obvious to me that once Jason changed his mind..MF played this from begining to end...Jason and Molly are the ones taking the backlash and pretty Melissa suddenly doesn't want to be a step mother and a teacher..

i'm glad she has accepted this deal...life is full of challenges obstacles and great experiences...i hope this will be one of them for her..

i am not a Jason/Molly/Mellisa fan...imo from the begining when i first saw the bio's i thought they were all far to young...i had enough of jason on deanna's season...i liked Jillian and Steph..however knew Jason was not for them....

what i am a fan of is being able to voice opinions...which is what FORT is meant to be for..without the mean horrible comments made against any of these three people...people keep saying its not the who its the how..i keep saying we'll never know how... the "how" came to be...

All things considered, teaching is difficult, and goodness knows the pay is low for the labor and education required.

If you are a teacher, and you prefer to be doing something else, then you need to be doing it.

It is not fair to the kids or to yourself to teach if your heart is not into it.
Children deserve the very best that someone has to offer, and people need to do what makes them happy.

I would say to anybody who is not happy in education: Get out and find what does make you happy.

He called Molly, after having the breakdown that everyone saw, after claiming to be in love with her, after becoming engaged to Melissa, and soon after coming home...then denied the call. Yes, I think there are some serious grounds there for some kind of infidelity, especially when he goes after Molly once he and Melissa are publicly broken up. Calling her and admitting to it - okay, that seems legit. He's not trying to hide the fact. However, calling her and denying it is a clear example of hiding something. I don't see how you can argue that.
