Is there a place that we can listen to this? I know from the past few conference calls we have been able to listen besides just reading them. I will stand firm that Jason had not plan this at all. Just watching Mel walk out on that stage you could see across her face that something was totally wrong. They looked extreamly uncomfortable with each other. Melissa look like great now what I am in for. But I think she was shocked just as much as CH was about the break-up. You could tell she was furious and she had every right to be. I would of liked this to be 2 hours for the first one. What I don't understand if this was 6-8 hours of taping it seems very edited about how everything occurred. The FRC 2 seemed competely different also. I am so glad that Melissa decided not to come back on. That took guts to in my oppinion to do.

I wonder if that will still be a go. Yesterday, ABC announced that Jason wasn't available for interviews. If he does meet his committment on Ellen, I will read what happened here.

I couldn't bring myself to watch last night. Funny thing, my DH put it on, and I had to beg him to change the channel.

Well Ellen said yesterday that they are all coming. She was also angry at Jason for doing this

I didn't watch either even though I wanted to see Steph, Naomi, Nikki, Jill and even Erica.

I was still reeling from what went down the night before.

I like Jason. It did take guts to do what he did. I admire him for doing it now rather than dragging Melissa along, and getting Ty even more involved. I hope Jason and Molly are happy and that in 5 years they really are still madly in love and married as CH also wishes in his blog.

First, CH says that Jason came to them right after the holidays, Christmas/NYears, and said he wanted to break up w/Mel and be w/Molly. He said it was BEFORE the premiere episode 1/5/09 (thus the hand and arm sc was shown so as to throw everyone off). Therefore, Jason KNEW when he went on JK what was in the works. He did an interview w/CH on Hollywood 411 on the same day and something CH said in the interview to J made me think at the time that something was in the works (it seemed like one of those "we have a secret" moments). I remember thinking at the time "maybe we are going to see a wedding this time". Little did I know. This all happened on 1/9/09, 9 days before the cruel breakup.

I don't think CH was in on the original plot, but I think there was one. I don't think RS is the only one publishing this story. They are not only using RS as the source of their story, but others as well. The latest email on RS's site says the producers put him in contact w/Molly right when he returned to Seattle from NZ. This was from a separate source than the others RS has. Since RS has been correct in everything he has told us since 1/27/09 about the finale and the ATFR1, I think it would be disingenuous now to think he is not telling the truth.

Do I think Fleiss sold Jason a bill of goods? Yes. Do I think he knew what the reprecussions to him would be? Certainly not. I think Fleiss did tell Jason by choosing Melissa and then breaking up w/ her at the ATFR would be great for ratings AND he convinced him that Melissa would not be irreparably harmed by it, would gain sympathy from viewers which would set her up for the perfect Bachelorette #5. I believe Jason was naive enough to believe that, but I don't think he thought further enough ahead to the day he would actually have to carry it out and how people would feel about that. I think they did the taping early because the stress was getting to him. However, after saying all that, he did seem so sincere when proposing to Mel at the FRC. But he seemed so sincere on JK and other interviews as well.
