As aired (remember it could be edited) but it was taken with the first words she spoke after Jason said it wouldn't work. If you go back and watch there are long parts of conversation with her that she doesn't have the ring on.

So did she walk out and hand it back right away?

I didn't see the ring when she was on the couch, but she clasped her hands when she sat down. Everything seemed so spliced together that I wasn't even sure I was watching it in order.

Fleiss needs to release the complete contract for this season, before I believe anything he says. I do not for one minute believe Jason did what he did because he wanted to hurt Melissa.

I don't either. That's just ridiculous. Just like the answer as to whether the whole season was scripted or not, I don't think we'll ever know the real reason why the breaking up was done on television. The only thing I can think of is ratings...and that's exactly what they got.

By the way, MF did the conference call instead of Jason and Molly. They cancelled last minute for "scheduling conflicts"

This is tv, they work for ratings. If this was scripted it was genious, If it wasnt scripted it was a windfall for ABC. Either way, Look at FORT's hits the past two nights, they will show the interest it created. And for a pretty old tv series this kind of interest is amazing. I just hope it wasnt TB's "shark jump".

I don't think Jason wanted to hurt Melissa either. But I have a hunch he did break up with her on TV for Molly. I believe this was one of Molly's conditions, break up with Mel on TV the way you sent me away at the FRC. She wanted everyone to see that Jason made mistake. Just my opinion.
