I think on JK, Jason was probably saying what he was told to say. He had already announced the enagement. Perhaps he thought they could still work things out. It could have been after the JK interview when he realized that the relationship could not have been saved.

I like Jason. It did take guts to do what he did. I admire him for doing it now rather than dragging Melissa along, and getting Ty even more involved. If he loves Molly, he should have every right to try and make it work. Melissa will find better. As she said, she would have rather found out when she did.

And just for the record...I don't think this was planned. I think that is crazy. If it was planned I beleive ABC would have given the new happy couple more than a tent. Also, I think CH is telling the truth. No one really has any reason to beleive otherwise---that I've seen---expect for what RS says.

I think Jason changed his mind. I think it was ok to do. It happens everyday. I'm glad he changed his mind when he did rather than dragging this out, or after they got married. I think he did the right thing be ending the relationship if he didn't think it would work.

And just for the record, a relationship is a two-way street. I can't beleive that Melissa was also not in someway also at fault for the demise of the engagement.

I hope Jason and Molly are happy and that in 5 years they really are still madly in love and married as CH also wishes in his blog.

That's my two cents. I've finally said it. And now, maybe I can get on with life and away from this board!

On the Bonnie Hunt show today, she starts off slamming Jason. It's SO funny! She said Jason was going to be on her show on Monday, IF he shows up, that is. She's replayed part of the Jimmy Kimmel interview twice already. She said to email her specific questions to ask Jason and she'll ask him!

As I understand it if the couple stays together then yes, they get to keep the ring. If they break up it goes back "where it came from".

Typically the F1 gets the ring backstage and wears it on set....then has to give it back to the handlers after the taping.

If Jillian doesn't choose the one the viewers designate as F1 and consequently put up on a pedestal, Jillian will pay a tough price for it. I will be doing what I've done every season, keep my eyes and ears open for whomever is designated as F2 and has the hidden edit. More often than not that person ends up with the final rose.

That's just it, though, for all the seasons that I've watched (and it was all of them except for the Doctor season), even through the edit, I did pick the F1 since I DID see the love stories. I had picked Jenni during Brad's season...but I don't count that one since he chose neither.

To me, this season was one of the most obvious...nothing "hidden"...I totally saw the Melissa love story all the way through. The other ones that were really obvious to me were Tessa, Ian, Jen, Mary, and quarterback girl (sorry, I forgot her name). Ok, I also thought it was Trista rather than Amanda during S1.

Maybe I should try harder looking for a "non-obvious" one like you suggest. Then I won't be as disappointed in the result.
