Maybe this has already been started, but there are just too many contradictions in recent interviews with Jason and CH. Here are a few (and feel free to add).

1. On Jimmy Kimmel, Jason says that Melissa knew and they were broken up before the ATFR1.
2. CH says in an interview (today ... not sure exactly where it is at the moment), that Melissa wasn't a lamb led to slaughter. She knew things weren't going well. But, she thought she was at the ATFR1 to set a wedding date.
3. Jason proposes to Melissa in NZ saying 'I love you, I love you' and he did love her "at that time" and his feelings were real.
4. Jason shown during finale that he's completely in love with 2 girls. Almost loses his lunch over balcony in NZ after letting Molly go.
5. Jason says that it wasn't until after spending the holidays with Melissa that the 'chemistry' seemed to change.
6. Jason says he never stopped thinking about Molly.

I've always tried to make sense of all the info and tried all so hard to not be personal in any posts. But, seriously at this point, after all this, I'm throwing caution to the wind!

No freaking wonder we are all confused. Bottom line. Jason is a wuss. He doesn't know his 'you-know-what' from a hole in the ground.



So, yes, I'm torked. But, I'm also PMSing and on the verge of menopause if that helps explain anything.

Don't blame yourself for this mess! All that you posted is true and especially the part about Jason being a wusss!

This "single parent" stuff is the first thing that made me dislike Jason. I know it sounds better than "divorced father" but come on. I hope Hilary does some type of press as a lot of people in internet land think she is not involved with Ty.

Now Jason is promoting this single parent association - give me a break.

Thank you for posting the People scans, Molly looks REALLY pretty! I was cringing at how awful her hair looked Monday night on ATFR Pt 1, People magazine clearly had expert stylists working on her, and it paid off.

I just watched the recaps of Elisabeth going off about Jason at abc's the view website. I laughed out loud at her viewing party. It was pretty funny!

She isn't interested in getting involved in this show. She knows what kind of parent she is and so do the people that know her and love her.
I personally think it's smart of her to lay low, and wait for it to blow over.

Bachelor Creator: The Outcome Was Never Staged - PEOPLE TV Watch

ABC’s reality series The Bachelor has had its share of surprising endings, but Jason Mesnick’s on-camera breakup with fiancée Melissa Rycroft and subsequent reunion with runner-up Molly Malaney has been by far the most shocking. But online rumors persist: Was the show’s outcome fixed?

As Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss tells PEOPLE, “That’s patently untrue. It was [Jason's] choice in New Zealand who he proposed to.” But after the show wrapped, Fleiss says, “He was not in love with Melissa anymore and he was in love with Molly and he needed to make a change.”

In fact, no one saw this coming, says Fleiss, who upon returning to the States “was in the process of trying to talk Molly into being the Bachelorette.” “She was finally starting to come around and saying she wanted to do it, and she had spoken to her family,” he says. “I thought she would be a fantastic Bachelorette, so likeable and beautiful and telegenic.”

A week later, Fleiss learned that Jason and Melissa were not getting along, and that he had never stopped thinking about Molly. “My first thought was, ‘Oh, too bad,’” Fleiss says. “My next thought was, ‘Wow, that’s almost too good!’ I knew that was a remarkable twist.

“At that point, the decision was made to bring all three parties into the studio to film After the Final Rose, the most shocking After the Final Rose in Bachelor history,” Fleiss says. “It was never anyone’s plan.”

Host Chris Harrison also tells PEOPLE, “We haven’t shown breakups before, but we’ve never had this situation. We couldn’t not show that.”

While Harrison maintains Jason was “head over heels in love with [Melissa],” he adds, “There’s nothing we can change or do about” his eventual change of heart.

I agree - my guess is they're one and the same. I guess RS doesn't have to keep wondering if he should release them - already done. Unless, of course, he did release them to AH so he wouldn't get "blamed" for releasing them.
