If memory serves me right, the guys were calling Jesse as D's pick toward the end of the her show as well. Although, I have to admit that it also sounds like they may be sounding a bit sarcastic about it being Melissa and all over the internet. (And, what's up with Jeremy saying first Stephanie then agreeing with Melissa?)

IDK ... now I've confused myself and that is NOT hard to do! LOL!!

Well, I don't "love" Jeremy...this comment of his makes him sound rude and ungrateful. If it wasn't for DeAnna choosing this particular group of guys they wouldn't have their wonderful friendships. For this reason alone they should show some respect towards her. I'm so tired of everyone blaming the bachelor and/or bachelorette when these relationships don't work out. From the beginning of the show to his relationship with Holly, Jesse has sounded like nothing but a shallow wannabe to me. If that's Jeremy's idea of a good guy, let him enjoy his company, but he doesn't need to insult DeAnna to make his point.

My guess is that this is part of Melissa'a edit theme and TPTB are asking her questions in her PI's that bring up the "unlucky in love" comments. This really belongs in the Edit thread, but I think they are trying to use Melissa's unlucky in love story to parallel Jason's lack of "Luck" - divorced, rejected by Dee... TPTB are setting us up so that both Jason and Melissa can have their "happy ending" (for however long it lasts

I have never seen that guy before. His reactions were better than some of the established comedians' on late night TV.

Wow! What an increase, and this was a group dating episode!

The Bachelor was #2 behind House & 24 on Fox, but beat the CBS comedies for the first time (except for finales, it has never done that). Even though True Beauty is flopping badly, The Bachelor did well enough to give ABC #2 on the whole night in both viewers and demo, ahead of CBS. Before we get too excited by this performance, CBS's entire night was filled with repeats. But even the repeats usually dominate Monday nights.

Viewership climbed each half-hour, peaking at 11.54 million viewers in the last half-hour. And the demo numbers were incredible! Peaking at 4.4/10 in adults 18-49. This is the best Bachelor ratings performance since Jesse's Bachelor 5 way back in 2004.

ABC is thrilled with Jason's season. Samantha Who? has been moved to Thursdays to allow for the two-hour episodes to continue.

Chris Harrison announced during the show that they're casting for the next Bachelor.
