They certainly exposed the cracks in the Jillian concrete venere last night - initially by showing that she is jealous - there were 3 scenes in the beginning of the epi - where she says it herself - then they show her down in the dumps over Melissa's 1n1 date with Jason - they then show her having a difficult time opening up - and about somethings having to be on her terms - her feeling she had to be there for everyone else and not to break down was interesting - and as Jason says - she needs to do for herself - alot of which relates to where she comes from regarding her younger life. There is doubt on Jason's side in many ways - and her opening up may be too late and that is where her story is going to peak I believe. Great gal - but I still don't see that really strong 'thing' between them - yes - I do see some connection - but not that 'thing' that Jason is really looking for and won't settle for anything less. I loved seeing some cracks in Jillian's edit...makes her more real to me, and even more grounded. This is one very intelligent, complex, and fascinating, not to mention fun woman. I hate those perfect edits of some of the characters...we came the closest to perfect last season with Jason, until he commented on being jealous in the one episode, but he handled it maturely. It is more I suppose how the stated jealousy is handled. Although I hate jealousy on anyone, no matter who it is...Jillian does not get a free pass from me for that.

I really enjoyed seeing Jason pleading with Jillian to open up and how he was developing strong feelings for Jilly...that was very poignant and heartfelt, and such a compelling scene for me. She is trying to, and she is feeling rushed...and vulnerable and a bit insecure. We all know how attracted Jason is to those qualities, so I am certain he was feeling even more for Jilly last night. It is unfortunate the whole thing is so rushed...if they had the time to get to know each other better...I know that JJ would be together...they are a great match. He couldn't stop kissing her!

Anyway Jill is F3, so it is all a moot point, and I am just fine with that. I so enjoyed seeing so much more of her last night and getting to know her better, and getting to see more of some of the other women too. I found the whole thing to be a great episode and I loved how the women all supported each other, and genuinely seem to care about each other. How refreshing and wonderful was that to see. But Jillian is the spark of life in this season for me , and I am soooo very glad she is not perfect...Thanks

Also, she pointed out that she needs to focus on "me" - said it more than once.....now, if she is in a good place, and ready for a healthy relationship, I would have expected her to say she needed to focus on either "Them" as a couple, or "Jason" as her love interest.
I personally believe that this adventure is showing her that she is perhaps not where she thought she was emotionally, or simply that Jason doesn' t bring out the open/easy Jillian that I know is there somewhere.
I truly like Jill, and even identify with her somewhat, so I am not tying to bash - only to show my perceptions from last night.

Hmm-- I didn't see that at all-- I saw them finishing each other's sentences during that conversation; I actually thought it was cute the way she knew exactly what he was saying. But I guess that's just me as I finish DH's sentences at times.

ITA, Karey! I was really happy to have more Jillian time last night that wasn't centered around her being the life of the party or the consoler of the other girls.

I mentioned this in the Thoughts thread, but the line from Jason re: Jillian being the girl who could break his heart really jumped out at me. WHY would they keep that in there?? Yes, he thinks Melissa could be too perfect, but there's got to be a reason he's concerned with it only being a 1-way street with Jillian. Kind of reminds me of Graham (uncertainty) and Jeremy (too perfect). Just the things that make me go hmmm...

Oh yeah-- and still not feeling the Melissa love. But, eh, whatever; I could really take her or leave her.

There is no doubt that Jillian is a great lady, but I agree with that being why she goes home when she does. J has had his heart broken and certainly doesn't want to go down that road again if possible. J has really narrowed his choices down to a super group of women. They all have their super qualities, and of course as we have seen they all have their less redeeming qualities. I guess we can chalk that up to being human, nobody is perfect.

But then again, not every girl feels comfortable expressing their deep feelings on national tv for a guy she has only spent a matter of hours with, and most of that in the company of his other girlfriends. Then again, the standard Bachelor script should have her tearfully exclaiming that she's falling in love with him, to which he cannot reply that he is as well, and that she's not actually going to get her heart stomped on and her butt dumped in front of millions of people and go home looking like a chump.

Actually I noticed that too........ almost like they have a deeper connection together than he might have with other people. It was definately cute!
