You make some very good points...many of which I have wondered about myself PLUS.....he told her in the fantasy suite he has given her more than he has ANY of the other girls...and then he said WHOOPS..almost said too much...now this could go either way...it is real and she has been the Hidden true love all along...or it was said in another content to something totally different and its edited to look like he said it at that time...I still say since we have not seen either of the girls left hands or wrists and we know that there is a proposal which means the ring would go on the left hand so to me...its still up for debate...I can't shake what happened in B10...Bevin was out there so much with that total chemistry edit and as much as people want to argue over it..he did tell her he loved her...she said as much and she believed him..but the REAL love story was with the hidden girl Tessa....and to me this season reminds me so much of that...I am not convinced yet of either girl being F1....so I am continuing to look and slueth ....

I agree and that is why I think he fed her the lines he was told to feed her to keep her on the hook. And, I will say again, I think when she called him a douchebag the look on his face was real for once. He finally saw what was happening. I really believe he was ashamed of himself and he should have been. Although, he still doesn't totally get it because he appears "not so nice on the WTA". I really think he likes a good joke when he is dishing, but not so much when he is the one in the hot seat.

If the rumors are true and there is already trouble in paradise he will get a taste of his own medicine.

What a great post!! I could have written it word for word. I totally think Matt can dish it out, but can't take it. If he thinks Amanda gave it to him, he won't even know what hit him when Chelsea lays into him once she is let go at the F2...

Agreed, 100%. I was totally sold by the time of his one on one interview after his Fantasy Suite date with Chelsea. His tone of voice, the look in his eyes, said it all. I have watched every episode of every Bachelor and Bachelorette and have only been wrong once (the Meredith season when I thought it was Matt until the sleuthers here proved the Matt lovers wrong before the final episode). This season with Matt reminds me of the Trista season. Everyone all over this board thought it was Charlie (the more Hollywoodish choice and Trista seemed to be into that) but it was totally Ryan all the way. One thing about Fleiss, when it is totally obvious by the editing, it is usually a smokescreen. You have to read the body language and the eyes........

I think Shayne and Matt have a great connection, but I also see it with Chelsea. Matt's said over and over he's crazy about Chelsea. Why is it so hard to see why he'd choose her? I am SURE it's not just because she wore a slinky black dress.

Maybe I should not be so quick to judge, but it was not simply a black dress, it was a negligee, see through to boot. And the whole day, she had been stand-offish, but then, she decides to show her "romantic" side by wearing a negligee for him. There is a very big difference between romance and sex. And I felt that what she did was very manipulative. I think she was realizing that things were not going well, and she upped the stakes. Things are always so akward between them, and I just think its sleazy to use your sex appeal to get what you want, in this case, win the contest. I honestly do not think that even if Matt were to choose Chelsea, their relationship probably would not last long. And it would be a shame for Matt to be swayed by his "other" brain, and miss out on a really good girl.

Chelsea explained to Matt that she felt distant because she couldn't get the other girls out of her mind. Matt understood and it was AFTER THAT she wanted to show him how "into" him she was. I doubt if they had sex... We've discovered that since Jesse, the guys have come out and said they didn't have sex with the girls on the overnights, because it was too valuable to be able to have real discussions with the cameras gone. maybe they did, maybe they didn't. I don't think we can judge her because of what she was wearing. We know this show is more than partially scripted and I believe chelsea was taken advantage of.

I adore Shayne. I think she's terrific, funny, and down right enchanting. HOwever, I think Chelsea had Matt from Vegas. Straight up and no contest. Matt may have been highly attracted to Shayne, but he said himself that she's out of his league. Chelsea was the right choice for him, and I think we'll see that his parents agree.

I am hoping there isn't trouble in paradise, but if there is, it's because Cheslea is getting cold feet after all the hype.

Do you think TPTB will have a hard time editing Matt to look good? He has put his foot in his mouth in other interviews so I won't be surprised. And they did show the "24 losers" bit in the sneak previews.
