It's not my fault -- it's my evil twin's fault! Unless it's my turn to be the evil one. I can never remember anymore. Oh, well.

Seriously, if eventually found to be true, the rumor calling Shayne "bitchy" just reinforces my bad opinion of Matt, who had to be behind that particular adjective. It also reinforces what I've been saying for a while now -- I feel sorry for F1 regardless of who she is. The guy's an unemployed, shallow, self-absorbed doofus, and I think any woman who's stuck with him, however temporarily, will regret it.

IMO if Matt really did fall for Amanda she would've been F1. Period. We all agree that after Brad's fiasco we wanted a love story and we're sure Fleiss wanted us to see one. If Matt and Amanda were falling in love, and the viewers were watching a love story unfold, no producer in his right mind would "guide" the star away from the end-all that would restore credibility to his show.

Does anyone know how easy it would be for Matt to stay in the US....or for Shayne to live in the UK? What steps would they have to take?

I completely agree. Its one thing to have an open mind going on this show that you could fall in love, but the ones who seem to have the highest expectation of this happening are usually the looniest ones! Unfortunately, I'm sure TPTB do everything they can to create a feeding frenzy and a spirit of competition for TB, so many of the girls seem to lose perspective on the situation. Most of them do seem to recover pretty quickly once they get back to reality, but some of them have to live with live with some pretty embarassing behavior.

I read Amanda's latest interview and she implied that there was nothing going on with Matt early on......So are we not to believe even what Amanda is saying, I don't think that Matt for one minute was guided in another direction from Amanda, because after all she is toted this season as the all American girl so what more fitting ending to this season, if Matt fell for Amanda I can say without a doubt to me, that she would be the F1 and Shayne or Chelsea would be F2 if that is where Matt wanted to be........

She wouldn't be F1 if there was already a planned outcome, no matter how much Matt liked her.
