You got that right. It isn't realistic and, yet, sometimes there is such a thing as love at first sight. Still, you make an excellent point.

Amanda's reaction to Matt at the RC reminded me so much of Deanna's at the FRC. Both girls are not naive schoolgirls that have dillusions of love, they honestly picked up on some real emotion from the Bachelors and were in total shock, which was more than just disappointment at not getting a rose.

Heck, we saw it, the other girls saw it, so we know it wasn't all in her head. Something else was behind Matt's choices that day and it's pretty obvious to me that he had already decided to choose "Hollywood" so he let Amanda go, much like Andy let Danielle go at F3 once he had decided on Tessa. JMO

It was a clip on the ABC site. It's actually quite a long clip of the WTA. She tells him that she thought they were going to get engaged. BFLDB seemed uncomfortable. It also showed Stacey, a la panties, and I thought she was redeemed. BFLDB even commented on it and that he understood and thought she got a bad rap because of meet and greet night.

She does tell him she thought they were going to get engaged. I guess we will have to see the entire context of the convo to see where she is coming from.
The WTA was filmed on Friday, and the interview was done yesterday, so who knows, maybe she has had some time to distance herself, digest it all and heal.
She sounded great in the interview and really has moved on.

You have a good point about Amanda's meeps and could very well be true. But, Matt must have really gone all out for Amanda to think he was going to propose to her.

Yes, I do think he went all out. I think he told her exactly what he was told to tell her. I also think that he didn't realize, until she called him a douchebag, just how far he had taken it and how much he hurt her. I think he deserved what she said, but he was hurt and I believe that was one of the very few honest emotions we saw the whole season. I have watched that several times and you can see it in his eyes before he lowered them. He was ashamed and he should have been. I believe he will come to a point where he will realize what he did and what he said in that one interview and will regret hurting her. I think he will come to regret many things he did and said. Maybe this will teach him to not let anyone manipulated him in the future.

I haven't always enjoyed the "Shayne Show," but I never saw anything (from her) that I considered "bitchy." I wonder, * if he thought that because she had the audacity to want him to have a job. Maybe she had thought they would live in London and he surprised her with wanting a green card to live in Hollywood?

As the starter of the "twins" part of the rumor, I resemble that remark!

I don't think of Shayne as bitchy, but I don't see them as a long-term thing, either. So if the inevitable problems are already happening, "bitchy" might be his take on her. It would be one more reason not to like him.

You know if this should turn out to be true it would explain no ATFR.

It could be totally wrong but, sadly, it would be typical of the majority of Bachelor outcomes.
