I think there were 6 girls that Fleiss wanted to feature. I think he was in charge from day 1 and Matt did what he was told with most of the 6 girls.

Especially if he had to be told to keep Shayne at three different times, which is what the rumors were.

I have alway been told there is at least a small seed of truth in every rumor.

I saw chemistry between them, but there was something off about it to the point where I expected her to reject him. Since that proved not to be the case, I'll consider most alternative explanations. And this one works as much as any of them do.

Could be, but did you notice how abruptly Fleiss dropped the meeps storyline? He then went with the All American Girl storyline. Then the prankster storyline. What was the exact wording of the promo that the prank would lead to a big shocker? Maybe he thought different storylines would appeal to different demographics so he could shock more people when she left at F3. Tricks, tricks, and more tricks. And subtrifuge.

Maybe because she was led to believe that from the production? Maybe because she is ready to get married and wanted to believe it? In that article that Kasha mentioned she does say she was shocked and angry but after sleeping on it she understood why he did not give her a rose.

and from what she said on Ellen, he did say things that led her to believe she would be safe that RC. We know about the picture comment because she said it, but what else did he say to her to keep her hopes up?? That we'll never know. But a woman doesn't think she's getting a proposal without appropriate feedback from the gent.

I expect they get caught up in the premise of The Bachelor, that he will select among them his future wife. If 25 girls were to go to a party, they would not assume that the male host would pick one of them to marry.
