The magazine is not out yet, it won't be until June I believe. The magazine issued a press release and some sneak peeks of the shoot right after the finale to get the most exposure possible which they hope will lead to high sales of their next issue.

But isn't that just the cover they are showing and not the whole magazine which is not due out until August.......Even I could print a cover layout overnight if I had to....But that's just my opinion....

Well if it was only the cover then yes I would agree.. but on Inside Edition they show the whole magazine as they flipped through it..

I don't remember seeing that....it was a video of some scenes from the photo shoot. In any event, the cover only says "The Bachelor's Shayne Lamas", not the "Bachelor winnner" or "The Bachelor's Fiance". Only that she was on the show.

I just wanted to say that to me, pornography is pornography, regardless of the dictionary's definition. I'm not a prude, and couldn't care less if she posed nude, but guys won't be buying GGW for its insightful articles. The pornographic attribution is in its purpose, and its purpose isn't an artistic endeavor. So although it can be a subjective term, with some (your local pastor) labeling it pornographic and others (adult film stars) seeing it as tame/mild, a pornographic ascription is merited by the material's purpose (in my mind anyway).

Here's hoping they make it and prove us skeptics wrong, because if there is indeed anything between them, I would never truly wish anyone failure, whether I like them or not. True, I have my opinions on the matter, and very strong ones at that - but I really don't wish them ill if they do have some basis for a future.

Sorry luvlady, but I don't believe that picture could be used either way, just think about it, what would you think if there were pictures released of Chelsea wearing a viel on Tuesday or next month???? she'd be a laughing stock and totally humiliated...... so IMO that veil indicates that she told Francis all about her win and she knew that those pics were going to be released right away - if they were supposed to be released in August, she would have waited awhile before posing.

Just posing another question for thought.....isn't it possible that there were multiple pics shot - some with the veil, some without - and the pics used depended on the outcome? Kind of like with the Superbowl....they have "Superbowl Champions" merchandise printed up for both teams since they don't know which one will win, but want to be able to cash in on the $$$ as soon as they can.

Thus, depending on the outcome of the show, (and since the pics were shot when Shayne was known as being a Bachelor contestant), the proper pic would have been easily at hand.

Just a thought......

Nice post miccisue and very true. What brings to mind are all of those different covers they shoot for mags like tvguide - like AI finalists in the event that one of them wins.

OK, I'm going to date myself here, but (and I'm not taking you specifically to task, yours was just the latest I could find with the word "purpose" in it) if you want to get technical, the National Geographic should have been banned years ago....oh how I remember the boys in school giggling over that one and absconding with library copies more than once.

and going a few years back, I remember there was a Life magazine cover that had a man, woman, and a baby nude on it. I don't remember what the article was about but anyway, my mom found it under my brother's mattress. She saved it for his posterity and still has it.
