I don't mean to sound snobbish, but Shayne is a high school drop out? Not that I'm surprised, but this is the first I've heard that one. A London financier (maybe/maybe not) and a high school drop out? The plot thickens.

No, it doesn't make her behavior promiscuous, but it does make it pornographic. The difference between those two is simple. Promiscuity allows for some degree of selectivity. A person may have many partners, but they are of that person's choice. Usually money doesn't change hands. I am in no way recommending it. Pornography is the product of an industry where sex is sold for money. Those who pose or perform in print or films have no say in who gets to see what they do. It can be any creep who can hand over 5 bucks. Even prostitutes can be somewhat selective.

As far as I'm concerned, Shayne has lived up to my opinion of her all along. GGW just reinforces it. She's just another Hollywood girl with a Hollywood set of values. I would bet on some physical intimacy also based on Matt's words and Shayne just being Shayne.

The difference is that Shayne's pictures are not the act of sex nor do they depict an act of sex. Pornography is the visually obscene. I haven't seen the pictures but from what has been posted, everything that matters is covered. And remember, Trista did the exact same type of shoot but for a different magazine. I think the main issue is the GGW magazine but if the magazine is so awful, why didn't they just skip Shayne and her tease shots and go for someone like Jenna Jameson? She has a new book out...the timing would've been perfect.

Shayne is the type of person who judges her own self worth by what others think of her nude body. Sad! Intelligence, or the need to appear intelligent, not required.

She never actually came out and said it on the show but I assumed she dropped out when she left home at 17 unless she was going to a GED program or graduated earlier than her classmates.. *shrugs* If I'm wrong in my assumption,I'd like to apologize for that now.

I honestly don't understand why High School Diploma = class. I know plenty of people who have post-graduate degrees and not an ounce of class or dignity in their body. Education is not, IMHO, a qualification for class. I have a Masters degree, and I went to grad school with some of the slimiest folks I have ever encountered. Likewise, my brother's wife dropped out of HS b/c she just hated it and wanted to move to New York to be with a boy. She is now married to someone else, and executive at a local ad agency and exudes class, intelligence and dignity.

Regarding her photo... it is part of the industry. The photo and the nudity required to take it happens daily and many of the "A-listers" that people deem classy/intelligent/successful have posed in equally "bare" photos.

The issue is more of it being GGW than the fact she had to take her clothes off for it. Actors, actresses and models are often times required to disrobe for photos and scenes... it is just part of it.

Ok, I am in no way endorsing GGW, but as far as the issue of Shayne posing nude---come on guys! Marilyn Monroe posed nude over half a century ago---actresses pose nude---so do plenty of other people---get over it already!
