I just had a thought about Chelsea's disrobing scene.

When they were sunbathing on the catamaran they were holding hands and smiling and laughing, but what we heard were voice overs about awkwardness. It's possible that the underwater cameraman was trying to get some racy shots of her and in order to keep him from getting them she stayed at a safe distance from Matt and the turtle. On the rugby date and the HTD when the camera was angled to get a "money shot" she covered her bottom. Maybe that is why they insisted on panty shot where everything was implied but nothing really shows...it may have been a trade off for a very revealing bikini shot.

Actresses being filmed after exhaustive rehearsals, and re-takes, is not the same as having a camera filming 24/7. A lot of actors don't do interviews because they don't want to be on camera as themselves ... Paul Newman, Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford are a few that come to mind ... and the reason they don't do interviews ... out of their comfort zone.

Well if interviews are out of their comfort zones, I'm assuming reality tv would be too. Shayne went on the show 'cause she loves the camera on her, that much is pretty obvious.

Sometimes my grammar is good, and sometimes not, and I could care less what others think. But then again, I am not drawn to pseudo-intellects or pontificators.

One of my favorite judge's is a southern man, extremely bright, knows the law like nobody's business ... his grammar isn't the best either.

Regardless of who Shayne's father was, she was raised by her mother. We often pick up speech patterns from the people we're around most as we are growing up. I get the feeling that Shayne's growing up years may not have been as easy as we have been led to believe. Wasn't it posted that she left home at 17 which most likely meant she left school as well. Which could account for a lot of what we saw with her.

Ok, you're right ... like I said earlier, hang her for saying "hold up", "sawl" ... after all, a person should be judged on how they speak rather than their character ... Hillary Clinton would be most happy if this were the case.

My best friend is educated, and she say "sawl"...go figure. Hey, I grew up with Southern parents, and my dad used to ask me to close the "winder" or get him a "piller" for his head. I use to say, "Dad, it's a pillow! and he would say, you say it how you like, and I will say it how I like."

There is a video up of Matt's family discussing the women. It is almost exactly the same as the Baldwins. Matt says he feels the most at ease with Shayne, but he feels the most PASSION for Chelsea. Passion trumps comfort....he's a guy! It's looking brighter for us Chelsea fans.

I've got nothing against Shane's manner of speech, I just thought the "holdup" "keepup" comment was just her messing up something that she was told to say by the production staff.

That happens to me, too, and my son loves to laugh at me when it does! Fortunately for Shayne, Matt may just take her expressions as being American lingo!
