Case in point, DeAnna got huge advertising billboards for her show. I don't remember anything similar for Matt's, I mean Shayne's, show at all. It's like they want people to forget about the stupid Bachelor already and pay attention to what ABC wants us to pay attention to.

I think there's nothing there after the FRC with Matt and his sweet, sweet pretend TV love Shayne. They'll play out the sad farce to it's revolting conclusion and then they'll move on, hopefully straight back into oblivion where they belong. ABC is smart to try to make us forget about the whole pathetic farce that followed an even more pathetic season 11.

That was planned well before the show even began taping--so I don't think it is so people won't pay attention and will focus on dede's season. It was planned long before.

And, I for one, will be paying attention because I love shayne and matt and can't wait to see more of them --- If in fact she is F1

How can you have any doubt? I truly cannot see Matt twirling Chelsea around to the other side.

Based on SCs etc, I don't have any doubt--but the show hasn't aired yet, so I like to remain cautious in case something crazy happens and we've been tricked by fleiss--

Exactly, Cupcakes! These same thoughts are going through my mind and I even made a comment about it in the media thread in the non spoilers section. The weirdness of this season continues...

I don't think so ... Fleiss would take all the publicity he can get! It is not like if there was an ATFR that they would turn down doing Ellen. I think if their love story is as amazing as they want us to think it is, they would an ATFR and all the publicity they can. I also don't think that they would give Chelsea the choice of whether or not she wanted to do the show. They would make her do it and they would wave her contract in front of her face to do so. I don't think too many F2's enjoyed being on the ATFR show, but they did it anyway ... it is never a wonderful experience for the F2.

Yep - no ATFR is a big deal that can't easily be explained away. Together with the many other oddities of this season, I think even those who have seen a connection between Matt & Shayne have to be wondering about some of the rumors. At this point, its harder to explain some of these things if there really IS a romance complete with proposal and not a sham. The rumors just seem to fit more and more.
