Yup quite a difference than the last photo of him at amanda's parents.. You can see the laughter in his eyes so I have to wonder if that last one was taken after or before he knew he was pranked?

I haven't posted in a long time but this is what I see happening:

"They" will sit Matt down after next week and ask him if he KNOWS who F1 is already - if it is Shayne they will ask him to make Amanda F2 - just for drama between the cutie from Hollywood and The All American Girl - OR if it is Amanda, they will ask him to pick Shayne as F2 - same reason. If it is Chelsea (I don't think so) - they will ask him to put up Shayne as F2 - more drama. SOOO Shayne is in the final two and I think Amanda too - but it could be scripted for above reasons.

I've NEVER seen an F1 given the obvious, full front assault as Shayne has been given - didn't someone say early on "All is not what it seems" - I really believe that - Shayne is just too obvious. I think when Matt meets her Dad - he will start to question his attraction to her "whole package" it really would be a different world - nice for a visit - but for long term - I just don't know.

I think the home-town date with Amanda will also make a difference. IF he gets a kick out of the trick parents, etc. - he and Amanda could really take off and if you want to know the truth I think they already have. Editing this year has been the worst I've ever seen.

Visiting with Matt's parents will give him a renewed perspective on what he is really doing - and I think their advice will ground him and he will pick Amanda - whether it will last six weeks - I don't know - but cutie pie Shayne would have problems too.

Just my thoughts. You guys are great!

So, since Shayne has to take him to her mother's house and her father's house, how much do you want to bet that we will see about 20 minutes with Shayne and the other 3 girls will be condensed into the 15 minutes that's left, since they have to have time to give out the roses at the end.

You mean like when Jenni went to her dance studio and her mom's house? Or when Amber went to her classroom and then her apartment? Or when Sheena went on the boat and then to her parents house? It's not uncommon to go to two places.

To the ordinary viewer, any of Chelsea, Amanda, and/or Noelle is possible contender, vs. Shayne.

And because Shayne is the Star of the Show, destined to win, it doesn't matter how any individual Matter of Time Girl is edited.

As a block, at this stage of the game, they create the necessary dramatic suspense that Shayne is not picked.

But Shayne IS picked, so no need to bother with faking up one credible F2 story line, except at the very very end.

It's a hodgepodge, really poorly done piece of editing on these Matter of Time Girls. The show deserves to be canceled on every possible grounds.

Top Chef, now there's a show that is really well edited. The storylines cruise along, they develop character, and each episode stands on its own as a dramatic piece.

This show? It's just junk.

I know...and I thought we spent too much time with Jenni on her HTD but that's neither here nor there. I just figure, that with all the face time she's been given already and considering the way it's been edited so far, it won't change this week.

I was just rewatching the show and just seen that part. I don't think that's in Barbados because Noelle had a PI with the same background. I think that's before they leave for ID.
