Maybe Amanda asked to leave at F3 and thats why there's no kissing SC? The edit just isn't adding up for any of the F3 so even though I have a preference I still have no idea how it ends. You are right TN, the hottub sc would keep more people guessing.

Actually...I think Fleiss is keeping ALL of us guessing, we all seem pretty confident on F3 (sc's for proof)...but it is the F2/F1 that is truly keeping everyone at ends....which means Fleiss is doing his job!....we wouldn't have anything to talk about if we were 100% of the ending...and now even we are all tuning in to see if our sluething comes to fruition!...

and on the Amanda note...I think the edit is soooo choppy and short, because if they were to show anymore we all see right to the HEART of the F1.....notice that we always seem to "catch" them together..little snips...and they seem to be in mid conversation..we never get to hear an entire conversation play out???

I have noticed that Matt and Amanda are always talking but "When" they are together...not "If".....

There have been many seasons past when girls looked like they had a connection and they stuck around for a good amount of time...and then when the Bach was interviewed..he would say how they really had stalls in their conversations and really didn't have that much there to talk about..

While I think he likes Amanda and she has a alot of qualities he may look for..she may not have that "something extra" that draws him in to her...maybe she is just another beautiful girl,without that "spark" for him..

There is no reason for him to cut her yet as there are others less desirable to let go of..but I think when the time is right after the FD's she will go due to a lack of that excitement or spark that we haven't been shown...

probably because it just isn't there for him with Amanda...or most likely,his heart was drawn to someone else first and maybe she never had a real chance ...

I would love NOTHING more than for Amanda to be F1...but I think it is too late...I don't think he has given the general population a chance to fall in love with her...he has not built her storyline...

It baffles me b/c I think it is clear that Amanda is the best fit for Matt but he's the one making the decision - not me...in terms of the chances of a serious relationship...I think with Amanda he would have a great chance...with Chelsea an okay chance and with Shayne no chance

Excellent! How many of us ever dated a guy who should have been perfect for us but we just weren't interested? And do we have a hand-raising icon so I can raise my hand? Maybe Matt's candid opinion of Amanda is something like "I feel like I should be interested in her, but I'm not, I just don't feel it." And if that's the way he feels, that's the way he feels.

And I still think she's not all that into him. She's saying what she needs to say for the producers, but that's it. I'm even sensing a bit of gaming, though not to the extent of Robin, where she's enjoying herself and might be trying to stay in it more for that than for Matt himself.

I don't think she's Danielle 2.0. She's more like Lisa 2.0, if she's F3. Just based on the intial attraction, an initial connection. Then, not much was shown between them. There's a comedic home town date (wedding dress), they laugh together more than anything, voila, she's F3.

Lisa, of course, had her Meeps-like storyline, where she was an expert at the show. Was viewed as not there for the right reasons and rather snarky to boot. But, I see more commonality with Lisa than with Danielle. Not personality-wise AT ALL, but edit-wise.

Danielle was sweet, had her unending theme of getting over the death of her boyfriend, but there wasn't much of a physical connection/romance between Danielle and Andy.

In contrast to Danielle, Matt and Amanda have a physical connection and share a common sarcastic sense of humor. There's something there, but I don't think it's enough to get her to the F2. It may also be that neither one of them have that complete in the gut spark. Actually, that's part of what's bothering me about this season, I don't think ANY of them have that feeling, yet. I don't sense a great deal of "wow", or bowled over emotion from any of them. They're going through the motions.

I just think back to previous seasons, even B***'s and I sensed FAR more emotion from the women AND the Bachelor at this point. I'm just not feeling it.

Regardless, I think Amanda is F3. I don't think she'll be crushed, though. I think she's enjoying the adventure of it more than anything.

from last nights episode...we have...

Amanda..perfect fit....he isn't getting it....not shown...but we think it would work long term

Chelsea...he thinks perfect fit for his parents...fun...but not affectionate...we dont' think it would last...base on his demands for cuddliness and her "no need for it" (could her outfit have screamed, "dowdy athlete trying to dress up" more last night?)

Shayne.....he can't keep his paws off her.....can't help but drool in every sc of them together...is fascinated by the hollywood thing...but we can see...no way will it work!

I guess I'm confused--why is it that Amanda is such a perfect fit for matt? We don't really know amanda, at all--we barely know matt--all we know is what we have seen on TV so how would we know who is right for him or not? Or who he will have the best chance at making it work with? we don't know what qualitites spark him the most--WE don't.

I observe it differently...Matt looks like he WANTS it work, period. Not just for the parents, but because he sees something in her.
Chelsea said public displays are uncomfortable, because of her shyness. I believe she DOES need affection, just not in PUBLIC.
It seems like, if he chooses her for F1, Matt will receive what he needs, in order to be happy together..(affection/romantic-wise).
