I personally don't see why it matters whose glass he clinks in the toast, but I guess it could mean that he really wanted his glass to touch Amanda's glass because he is in love with her. Heck, I don't know. Fleiss, why have you done this to me? I'm going crazy trying to figure out who the F2 are!!!

I don't know why Matt did maneuver aroud Shayne's glass to clink with Amanda's. I do know that in Byron's season. After the episode where Mary thought that she should go home, after that Byron clinked Mary's glass first.

It seems as if he is giving Amanda any kind of little encouragement he can without being too obvious: the toast, sitting by her more frequently in group situations, the teasing and full out laughs.

I also don't know if it means anything either, but in Meredith's season she used to clink Ian's glass first, even though he rarely ever was next to her. I know if I were on the show I would probably try to do that when possible, but who knows if Matt's thinking that way!

These little things makes me wonder about the person who saw Amanda at the gym and heard her say to her trainer "watch closely, it's that obvious." Could these little things be what she was referring to? (assuming this spoiler is true)
