There are two ring boxes shown. The first one is square with the ring and Matt on the balcony. The second one is being held by fingers and the corners of the box are angled. Is it possible it's the "jeweler's" fingers holding the box to show the ring to Matt? Sometimes the jeweler has been a man and sometimes a woman.
