That answers that question. It is so strange, though, because I don't think I have ever seen so absolutely little emphasis put on an F2 before. Amanda up until the HTD was almost underexaggerated. We did see a very short 1-1 date, but we didn't see her 1-1 pre RC discussions, and we didn't get to see her receive her rose as far as getting a hug or kiss. It was like Fleiss tried to hide her as much as he could and still have her be F2.

That is what I am seeing as well. You say they aren't going to pitch the first impression rose b/c she is the final 2 but didn't they at least mention the FIR with Jenni last year who also made it to the final 2? So it may be two seasons in a row, the FIR reciever makes it to the final 2 but leaves at the final 2.

It is strange that they haven't played up the FIR with her if she is the final 2 but perhaps they didn't do that nor showed anything with the others so the couple would have a better chance at staying together?? In other words, they only showed Shayne mostly so that she (being the final 1) would not have to see anything with the other ladies that would upset her. Therefore, the couple may have a better chance at staying together. . . I hope that made sense!

I thought the very same thing at first. I thought Fleiss is giving us a couple of weeks to get over our disappointment BEFORE the FRC so there would not be the firestorm like after the last FRC. But then I thought, naaaaaa, not Fleiss. I've explained my theory in a previous post #1733, Pg 174 on this thread. It may seem off the wall, but it's just my theory. I just cannot grasp him proposing to Shayne, because she seems all wrong for him. I am still looking for him to choose the AAG and bring everybody back into the "Bachelor Franchise" as CH promised that the this finale would do. I can't see choosing Shayne or even Chelsea accomplishing that. JMO You've probably already read my theory if you are reading this.

You mean maybe Fleiss didn't want to rub it in Shayne's face that Matt didn't give her the FIR? Well, you know, that would be decent of him - out of character, but decent just the same.

What I was saying is that at this late date, it wouldn't fare very well to bring up the idea of the FIR when she isn't going to make it to F1. Since she doesn't , the whole pitch would fall flat.

You may be right, if TPTB really want to keep up with viewers doing some guessing to the very end, because only Chelsea or Shayne could be the girl with Matt in the sunset pic.

What I am saying is since Shayne is the final one, and they want to help the relationship last, Fleiss may have decided to show the most with Shayne and Matt that way she didn't have to see him with the other women talking about important things, etc.

Could he be that decent? Nah, possibly? I don't know.

I am so far behind, no way I can catch up ... gheesh, a girl can't go to an ice cream social ... and look what happens.

So, since Chelsea is standing in the middle, has anyone figured out if this has any significance... lately F3 is in the middle. Also, that photo looks photoshopped ... Shayne's neck looks stretched, and Chelsea's feet look like they have been cut off, dress so long. Chelsea's taller than Shayne .. right?

I never thought about it that way, but that could explain why it was never played this season.
