Sorry ya'll but I'm getting off the ferris wheel. I have loved the ride but I'm done.

Not getting on any other ride but I do believe that it is Shayne as F1. I don't think she should be but that is "how the cookie crumbles".

I am changing my opinion based upon these points:

1. I have seen the obvious chemistry between Matt and Shayne develop through the series. It has been undeniable to me. My observations were that he also had a connection with Amanda and I was questioning which of the two ACTUALLY was the stronger.

2. Fleiss has made it the Shayne Show for a reason. I think his choice of edit was "Give the audience the Love Story they want", no "hidden edit" this time.

3. Fleiss is trying to make it clear to the audience that this wasn't contrived as a publicity stunt. All the airtime is trying to show the "reality" of a love story.

4. Thumb Nail shots are Shaynes.

5. Double exposures edits of Shayne on meet and greet and FD pics.

6. Shayne and London blending pics in the original previews.

7. The huge watch on Ellen Show.

8. The look on Matt's face as a girl arrives for the Rose Ceremony is the look he has always had for Shayne. It is a "tender" expression. Very real.

9. Major emphasis by Shayne how well the HTD went with Matt and her dad.

10. The Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding effort by her mom.

11. The HTD visit with little sis and "are you in love" convo... reminiscent of Deanna's visit.

12. ALL the closeups of their kissess throughout the series. Focus on intimacy.

13. ALL the video of the FDs kisses, water, lots of time together is being highlighted.

14. All the various dimensions of her personality have been exposed like the layers of an onion.


Yes, originally I interpreted Shayne's as F2 edit, but I have decided that Fleiss is redeeming himself after the Brad fiasco. I have decided that THIS is his choice of edit for The Bachelor 12.

Yup, Sex Kitten vs. the All American Girl -> and the winner is the Sex Kitten who has become the NEW standard for the NEW AND IMPROVED ALL American Girl...

After all, it is 2008. No longer the 1950s days of Ward and June Cleaver's All American Girl.

Since she wears the watch on her right hand, maybe it wasn't seen as a problem. Believe that is a Michelle watch. They've been popular for years. My daughters wear theirs everywhere they go. Believe me, I've tried to get them not to wear them with formal attire (unsuccessfully).

In person, the things are even bigger than they look on tv.

New poster here and I've been trying to keep caught up with all the posts. I was wondering if anyone noticed that the picture with Matt holding the ring, he is on the balcony at the hilton (same place the pics of him and Amanda). Is this getting ready for the rose ceremony, if so why isn't he at the Great House? What does this mean regarding Shayne's pics at the Great House that posters thought were LC?

If you are talking about the picture where they are sitting in the water, that's Amanada - not only does it look like her but the shorts are the ones that Matt wore zip lining, you can see the white stripe down the side fo the shorts that's a little above the water line.

Hi Northern, see you are hanging on this board now. I am myself considering getting out of the ferris wheel, not because of the screen caps, but because the last two shows he seems very into Chelsea. CoolCruiser makes some good points for Shayne. But think about the exact words Matt has used with regards to Chelsea. He said he is totally into her, he told her mother he fell in love the first night. He needs reassurance that she is into him, something you would only need if you had real feelings. I know the shoulder does not look like hers and she must have red nail polish on in Barbados, but I am just not convinced about these proposal screencaps, as you have said, something seems not right with them. Don't get me wrong I am still pulling for Amanda, but he seems to be falling for Chelsea if you listen to what he says.

Hi biz keep reading hon - that comment to her mom was a splice, if you want to read some good analysis go to the thread about body analysis etc. there's a poster, Lynn, and she and some others who are either deaf or work with the HOH have made some very interesting observations, it's worth the read, espcecially the last 5 to 10 pages.
don't give up on her yet biz, she's still the one that he seems to be "gaga" over (don't you just love the smilies over here LOL)

Thanks NV, will check out that post, as you know I tried to jump out of the dunebuggy last season as well, LOL, It just seems like his conversations with Chelsea have had the most substance so far. I do find it interesting that another diary of the departed mentions Amanda (and Chelsea) not Shayne
