I have no idea whose thumb it was and I won't even begin to pretend I am a super sleuther. But I'm just throwing this out for what its worth.

Isn't there any possibility that could be the F2's hand when he is saying good bye? We saw the ring and the hand seperately I think. Just a thought.

Was there a ring box on the table? Valens said she saw a ring box on the table .... I don't think the box would be there if they are F2's hand. I'm a West Coaster, so I'm relying on what Valens said.

Did anyone else see a ring box?

The f1's hand or fingers are usually shown. Whoever's thumb it is, had a fairly short thumb..looked like clear nail polish.

They had a scene where Matt was holding both the ring box and ring so clearly there's a proposal unless they decide not to show that.
