ITA. No photoshopping. The FRC of SWSNBN was reshot after their relationship tanked, but even that "ceremony" was not photoshopped.

SWSNBN---J-- S----- and Jerry Ferris. I don't want to rehash that sorry season; it's archived if you care to dig it up. Suffice it to say that there were two FRC ceremonies--one shot "real" time and with a happier ending and then a much more subdued FRC shot later after she was seen dating her boss, etc., etc. There are pages and pages in the FORT archives proving this. The latter one aired but some of the first FRC previews were shown. It's not unprecedented for Fleiss to reshoot the FRC--thus, the conspiracy theories this time. However, I don't think the FRC was reshot. I think it was Shayne all the way.

I agree it does look weird. it appears as though her ring finger is bent which is odd, because generally when someone is putting a ring on your finger it would be extended. Her pinky looks extended. It's a very odd picture but I agree, I don't believe they have ever photochopped screencaps, but there's always a first!!

Off the top of my head there are 2 times I can remember photo shopping and it was for stills of all the b'ettes with the bachelor intro shots.

The first one I remember was Bach 10--HDDA was photoshopped in the group b'ette promo sc and so was Tina.


The second instance I remember was this season:

Stacey and Tamara photoshopped.

This is all I can remember.

Thanks for remembering those. Those were not really screencaps though, were they? Those were more like press release pictures. The actual screen caps from previews is what I was referring to. I don't think the screencaps have ever been photoshopped. Right?

Yeah, in every season that I've seen, they've never photoshopped any part of the FRC. They've pretty much gave us the exact same things we actually saw at the FRC on television.

As I recall, the first previews that aired that season featured the originally shot FRC. But during the course of the season, spoilerage was published "outing" SWSNBN and her boss dating. Most of us FORT sleuthers in on the case thought the FRC was reshot during the airing of the show. J-- had obviously put on some weight in the interim. There was lots of evidence, and I'm sure it's archived. That's why it's always bemused me that so much was made of HWSNBN season--at least he didn't go through with a lie. And it wasn't the first time the viewers of this show had been manipulated. Disclaimer: not meant to resurrect all that should remain archived.
