She made a great point that the thumb shown had pale pink polish and a pointy, sort of rounded fingernail. Shayne's nails are squared with pale poolish, Chelsea had dark polish on, and Amanda has pale polish with pointier, rounded nails.

I don't know exactly what it all means, but through the eyes of an 11 year old, she thought for sure it was Amanda.

I am not sure who the thumb belongs too but everyone seems to feel that it has to be the F1 because of the ring box in the background....BUT..do you know how easy it would be to photoshop in the background around the picture to make it look like something it was not...Fleiss is famous for this kind of stuff

Has anyone analyzed the shoulder? For some reason I can't post sc but the shoulder does not look like Shayne. She has pudgy arms and her shoulders are rounded. The shoulder that we see while he is proposing does not look like it could be her. I know we don't see a lot of it but comparing it to the shoulder shots from last night's rc it looks identical to Amanda's. Could someone post these shots together to do a better analysis?

True, true. In fact, I'm a big photoshop addict and I touch up all of my own photos~lol.

What about the skin color on the arm/elbow cap? It looked too fair to be Shayne's. Anyone?

I agree. The f1 thumb is shorter in length than Amanda's, and the thumb nailbed is wider across than Amanda's. JMO.

That doesn't make much sense, and I can't see how it would bring viewers back on board. Additionally, I can't see how she can "FALL" in love btw the HTD and FRC.

The editors could have easily clipped those comments out of show, if they really wanted a solid story. So, its interesting they were kept in. Is it for suspense? Is it to show she opens herself up more later? Or is it just bad editing?

During Tessa's hometown date she was quoted as saying that she "wanted" to fall in love with Baldwin. Tessa "wanted" to ~ compare that to what Shayne said about Matt and love. I was told that Tessa did not "feel" love until the fantasy date.

It was shown to show the progress of the F1 women, who I highly suspect that Shayne is (considering what I have seen all along plus the hand screencaps), falling in love with our Bachelor.

I will try to have high def screencaps either today or tomorrow night ~ depends on whether I can get it downloaded properly.

I still think it's Amanda. Here's some reasons

1. the thumb looks short but it's bent and not extended.
2. the colouring in all shots is pale skin not tanned like Shayne's or Chelseas
3. the height is wrong for Shayne when he is standing with back to camera and has arms wrapped around f1. when you see Shayne standing beside Matt at F3 ceremony, her shoulder hits ar around his elbow, but the girl in F1 photo - (keeping in mind that his arm is extended forward and hugging her which would make his elbow height a little higher than normal) you can see that her shoulder is still a bit above that, which would mean that she is taller. (all shots are in shoes so they'd be consistant)

add that to the overkill edit of Shayne and you still have Amanda as frontrunner.

ITA. While watching the promo for the first time last night my gut reaction was SHAYNE. Totally Shayne. Then I watched the Jokers slow mo video before signing off for the evening and I realized how slim and pale the shoulder, elbow and hand appeared. Not Shayne and probably not Chelsea due to the skin tone--IMO. Even the shoulder height does not point to Shayne. I'll look forward to reading all the sluething posts today--hope we can pinpoint a definite F1 from the clues.

I noticed in the RC when Chelsea put her hands to her face twice that her nails looked squared cut but couldn't see if the thumb was the same.
