I was surprised by this as well... Marshana just strikes me as the kind of girl that's in it more for the win than for Matt himself.

This was another mystifying edit from last night. (I'm on a rampage with this topic.) It's entirely conceivable to me that Matt might have liked Marshana better, or had issues with Holly. But they didn't show it!!! They didn't show rapport with Marshana or issues with Holly. It was like "you're both equal in my eyes, but I have to send someone home so I'll randomly choose the cute little blonde." What???

I don't know... I think he had an ongoing question mark regarding Holly, he had already expressed that during the movie premiere date (yes, that one full of celebs and papparazzi sorry, I can't help laughing when I remember it). I think last night's choice was more of a leap of faith, he's hoping he will see more in Marshana, because he pretty much ruled out that something would bloom with Holly. I'm not a Marshana fan, but I must say she held herself much better during the date (compared to Holly), she made the most of her time and told him things he was looking to find out about like her willingness to move to London, she also shared things about her family, whereas Holly was just very flirty but not really invested in talking about a future with Matt. I don't feel his choice was random.

Has anyone posted about Matt's demeanor at the RC after letting Holly go? I've been looking but haven't seen anything. When he arrived at the RC, he appeared to be upset and gave a short speech about what happened earlier had really upset him. I've wondered if he was referring to something happening with Holly that resulted in her not getting the 2:1 rose.

I just read an interview with Holly where she talks about her being genuinely surprise and not expecting to be let go, also about her disliking Marshana (too much drama) and Robin (she's in for the competition). She also says that Shayne is a very sweet girl, that Amanda is her favorite to win, and that when Matt walked her to the limo she felt tempted to tell him to pick Amanda.

she also said that she had shared a room with Shayne- and they both had tons of shoes, so I found it kind of odd that she was rooting for Amanda- gives a person hope that there are things we are not seeing- or being shown.

I know, I thought the same thing. She seemed to have gotten very close to Shayne in the house, and yet she felt very strongly that Amanda will be the F1. That also made me think that there is a lot that we are not seeing. I wonder why?

I know that some think that Amanda is getting the Danielle edit, but I can't remember any of the girls from Andy's season that felt that Andy would pick Danielle as his F1 when they were doing their exit interviews.
