∙ Tennis Date Introduction
-M (V.O.): This is going to be brilliant. I really excited because we’re at a private estate, and we’re going to be
-M (PI): play tennis, then we’re going to have afternoon tea. *laughs* That just cracks me up.
-M (V.O.): So, we’re going to have amazing fun today.

∙ Tennis Date Interactions
-M: And again. Awesome!
-C: *laughs*
-M: That’s like a winner shot.
-M (V.O.): Chelsea looks really ridiculously hot today.
-M: That’s another winner shot.
-M (V.O.): Most of the time I seem to have the ability to
-M (PI): control myself, you know, as far as gawking.
-M (V.O.): Chelsea today, I’ve been just kind of fighting
-M (PI): myself back. Sort it out.
-C: Okay, ready.
-C (PI): Shayne and I decided to bust out a
-C (V.O.): a little mini-gymnastics tournament and ask Matt to judge it, in order to get his attention.
-C (PI): Little did I know, she used to be a gymnast.
-C: Shoot, you have some skills. Verrry nice. Bam! Ohhh, double. Yes!
-M: Look at these swans. How cool is this place?
-M (PI): After tennis, I had a surprise for them, and I
-M (V.O.): took them to where we were having tea, and their reaction was just brilliant. However, the rose is,
-M (PI): obviously, the outstanding issue, and at this moment, I haven’t really got
-M (V.O.): an idea who’s going to receive the rose today.
-M: I’m loving how English you all sound. Does anyone want some jam? That is actually really good tea.
-C (V.O.): I think Robin is the most competitive girl.
-C (PI): She wants time with Matt. She’ll do what it takes.
-C (V.O.): She doesn’t care about the other girls.
-C (PI): Not my cup of tea.

∙ Date Rose Presentation
-M: I just want to thank you all so much for making today really great, and uh, you’re obviously aware that I’ve got a rose.
-M (V.O.): This is hard for me. All of these girls,
-M (PI): in their own way, make me feel very
-M (V.O.): good, very comfortable, privileged
-M (PI): to be around, and it’s just very difficult.
-M: Chelsea, today you’ve been, considering you’ve never played tennis before, you pulled off some amazing shots. But it’s not just about that. You look great at that table, sipping that tea, and you continue to charm me with your beautiful nature. So, Chelsea, will you accept this rose?
-C: I so will. *giggles*
-M: Thank you, honey.
-C: Thank you. Thank you.
-C (V.O.): Matt is awesome
-C (PI): I didn’t expect this one at all, like thought I would probably be the last to pick.
-C (V.O.): I’m extremely happy.

*the big thing I noticed in this date was the fact that Chelsea got another rose. She got the rose BOTH times that Shayne was on the group date with her. Not only that, but Matt said that he could not stop looking at Chelsea on the date, and Shayne was there. In the last date, on his one-on-one with Shayne, he said that she had cast a spell on him. Looks like that spell wore off pretty fast!

Again thank you for all the hard work it is clear he has deep feeliings for Chelsea I will say that I do think Shayne still has him under her spell because the look he gave her at the end of last Mondays show was totally captivated but that could be just my Shayne bias lol

You know what really stuck out to me? Matt compliments Chelsea on how great she looked sitting at that table sipping tea!!! Now that's definitely not any kind of special skill Sounds to me like someone who's falling in love and therefore thinks that THIS particular girl just looks better than all others at everything she does, even if it's sipping tea

Love reading all the transcripts Heather, so much. Thanks for doing them. I think when I really was intrigued by Chelsea and she captured me, besides her being absolutely hilarious, was in Episode 2, when Matt and Chelsea were talking. I loved when she told him (and I am paraphrasing here),she does special things, but she is lonely, cause she has no one to share it with. And I loved that she told him she was stubborn. That was such a sweet talk. Matt was gutted by her!!! They are really adorable together, and she is such a wonderful woman, with all the qualities Matt stated he wanted and found, right down to athletic. hmmmm, I wonder who is not athletic!?! No wonder Chelsea makes it to F2....wish she was F1! Oh....and I loved when Chelsea said that Ashlee deserved to be picked last for wearing false eyelashes to a rugby game!!! Too funny! Thanks for doing this again...I enjoy reading it so very much.

Karey, I have always thought that line was one of the most funny and natural lines of the season! And you just know that was all Chelsea and not scripted at all! I think Chelsea is adorable, beautiful, funny!! I am just sitting here chuckling thinking about that line! It is not only funny, but it is true too, lol!!

I loved that line by Chelsea as well, but I especially loved it because as soon as she said it, she said 'I did NOT just say that!' - which seems like Chelsea to me, whatever's on her mind just spills out and then she thinks about it. I love people like that - sometimes you cringe in certain situations, but mostly I appreciate knowing exactly what they're thinking and that they're not saying one thing to you and another behind your back!

I love that she says whats on her mind but isn't being nasty. Great post!

True, if what you're thinking is really nasty, its really wise to be able to edit yourself in what you say out loud. In her case, she says what everyone else is thinking (i.e., Marshana) and at least it gets out in the open.

That's such a good point! I love rewatching all of their interactions to pick up on all the little nuances that I missed before. They are too cute.
