Cause I sure didn't know it!

Been watching since day one but never "really" watching until lately!
This season has me all off balance, thats why I joined the FORT I just can't figure it out anymore!

I think she knew exactly what she was saying.

I looked it up--after reading your post--thank you btw!

I think with her knowledge of french and being the age group she is in and around that type of slang she probably did know. My kids are that age and when I ran it by them--they rolled their eyes at me and said "yeah mom" in that way they do so well.

The first epi showed her speaking some french to Matt. It seemed like she was able to speak it better than he.
How well she speaks it is another thing.

She said a few times she has traveled in Europe and lived in England for awhile and she may understand french better than speaking it.
But yes, she does speak some.

Then her use of "Bon soir" was an odd choice, leading me to think the earlier poster might be right. But, then again, she lived in England and didn't know what high tea is (or rather, is not.) So, who knows?

But if Robyn's usage of "bon soir" is that of the Urban Dictionary (and in the context of the situation I think it was)--she would be using it correctly. Her face seemed to be saying it.

Who knows? I didn't dislike her at all, but she had contradictions that left me shaking my head and thinking 'What the heck?'

I don't dislike her either.
I think she is 22 and got caught up in the moment for a few weeks.
I bet she's moved on.
