I was thinking that the second kiss with Marshana (after Holly left) looked like the exact same one of the first one he had with her. In talking with bachelorettes from past seasons, they could tell right away who the Bachelor was highly attracted to right away. The producers really could take the cut from 25 to F4 the first night.

| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** I see the love story too, BlondieGal. The guy is totally into Shayne, no doubt. We may look for other clues because we like Amanda or Chelsea more, but I do see way more story line between he and Shayne.

Blondie, I thought exactly the same thing. Hopefully that means he didn't go back and make out with her! He seemed genuinely destressed at having to let Holly go.

| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** I agree that the second kiss was a replay of the first kiss with Marshanna. I adore Shayne. Every week I become more impressed with her honest, genuine and kind nature. She is precious. It speaks volumns that the other women like her, too. She is correct when she warned Robin that you cannot compete for love and she is living that in the house. Encouraging Robin to step back and give Joelle a turn illustrates this. Matt will either fall in love with her or not. She is being mature beyond her years with this aspect and very young other ways. There seems to be no doubt that Matt adores her too. That doesn't mean that he will deem her a good match for him but I bet he will be a mess if he has to let her go. At this point I would love to see Shayne as F1. |

I also observed when Shayne and Matt had that one-on-one time before the RC.. he looked at her way to tenderly like if he's really falling for her.. I am rooting for Shayne.. I've heard all the positive just as much as the negative comments about her.. but, I seem to see a more genuwine side of her.. I like her and I do hope she ends up happy at the end.. ![]()

With Clue 2 someone was able to transcribe what Shayne actually said to Matt, and it had to do with wanting to find someone to consider for marriage in the future (need to find that exact quote ~ if someone has it could they bring it up? ). Clue 3 is typically one of the clues I look for, in addition to the sleuthing of screencaps, etc...., in determining the F1. That one was significant in how I figured out F1 of Estella for Bob's show. You are correct that Clue 4 is not typical for the F1, but it has been done before with Jerry during Jen's season. It would be very difficult to not highlight Shayne during this show given Matt and her storyline, as well as her interaction with the women.

| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** The Clue 2 quote you are referring to was her comment that she was looking for someone to "move forward" with. As to Clue 3 , well I'm not feeling the amazing chemistry the way I did with Andy and Tessa or Meredith and Ian. If you are seeing that, then it must make for a fun viewing experience. As for me, well, I taped parts of the show last night so I can just fast forward through. | |

| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** In terms of seeing the chemistry from both sides of past shows, I would agree with Ian and Meredith ~ plus add in Byron and Mary. Found it! ![]() Quote:

| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** Shayne is growing on me a lot. I'm still not convinced she's F1, but compared to some of what we saw early on, her personality is really being given a better edit, IMO. I loved the line to Robin: "I'm not trying to make you cry, dude." LOL. Not only did she put her in her place, but she did it with a bit of sympathy. Basically telling it like it is without trying to make the situation even worse or flare up other tempers. It was rather diplomatic, I thought. That said... did anyone else notice the way Shayne was looking after Matt and Noelle when they walked off together for their fireside chat? It was HYSTERICAL. OMG. All I can say is, regardless of Noelle's fate, there is clearly a lot we are not being shown of her with Matt*** because I dare say that is the one and only genuinely jealous look I have seen from Shayne (disguised in what may be one of the funniest, stress smiles I have ever witnessed). I just watched it again and can't stop laughing. ***Including the coat kiss. I did, do and always will think that was Noelle. It was cut from either the beginning or end of their fireside convo. |
