I can't say I'm overly impressed with most of the remaining candidates when it comes to long-term relationship/marriage material, so even if Shayne appears to be deficient in that department, she doesn't really have a lot of competition.

I'm suspicious of what we're able to see, and not see, on these shows. She does seem to have greater depth of character than I imagined in the Las Vegas episode.

I think she's getting the Tessa edit, but then, look where that ultimately got Tessa. After two seasons of Bachelors going bust in the pairing department, I'd really like to see one with a happy ending that stays happy this time.

I like Shayne... I knew that she'd get redeemed on the show... Of everyone we're seeing more of a well rounded Character... Someone who has flaws, but is still well liked, fun, and interesting. I do think she's a LOT more mature than Ashlee appeared to be and they are the same age...I think Shayne is plain old adorable, but I have to admit, I am starting to see evidence that it's possible Chelsea is F1.

I missed Matt and Amanda's entire date ... all because I wanted a glass of water downstairs ... it must have been the shortest date ever.


I thought Shayne and Matt's time together at the RC was very sweet ... or at least it was edited that way. And he had his arm around her during the entire toast ...

So, as far as all the kissing from Matt ... it seems he is the one that initiates the kisses with Shayne, and with the others, it's the girls who initiate the kissing ... but I missed his date with Amanda ... who was kissing who on their date? His kiss with Marshana was anything but hot.

I read a post in the ABC boards saying that Amanda was back at her gym and told her trainer to "watch closely, it's that obvious." I don't know if there's any truth to that.

Since I do not know Matt personally, it is not for me to judge who he should or should not be attracted to or even if he should pick a woman who is ready to get married or not. I am watching for pure entertainment and trying to see if my instincts are right.

Like the few others who like Shayne, I see her connection (relationship?) with Matt and believe they are just going through the motions until the end ... but of course I've been wrong before.

Wait, I don't get that quote...maybe I'm dumb LOL If it's obvious, why would you have to watch closely...I'm confused. Was it sarcasm or something?

I imagine she meant that if you watch closely it will be obvious what's really going on. I think that's yet another clue that Shayne is F1. Folks who watch the show and buy into the Fleiss line will be confused as to who will be F1 as they are every season. Fleiss makes the guy seem torn until the last morning when he has an epiphany and then knows with whom he is in love.

She stood up for all the girls who quite obviously were starting to be annoyed by Robin competitiveness.

Well she can do this sort of thing without worry since she knows the ending is pre-ordained. It's therefore easier for her to be helpful to the girls who havent had time with Matt at the cocktail party or one on one time on the group dates. Maybe it's just her personality to get involved and be helpful. Or perhaps the producers have suggested it to her.

Everyone is watching these episodes for the first time, as we are. She would not ha as to how the footage was edited. This has to be rumor.

Not necessarily shoepie. The women who were there were bound to have noticed the preferential treatment that Shayne got. They probably knew the score after a week or two.
