I LOVED that Shayne admitted she's high maintenance.. .LOVED it.. I can see the beginning of Shayne being redeemed already...she's quirky, she's fun and she's honest about it. She completely defended Amy and walked away so Kelly and Amy could have time with Matt.

I thought it so funny that Matt said he was torn between her being one sandwich short of a picnic and being the best thing since sliced bread... CLASSIC!

I also heard guitar music, but an expert on "The Music" would have to clarify if that is indeed the right guitar music. I yelled at my husband.. ."It's the guitar music", too!~

oh, Nutty, you're not nutty... I heard it and we know Fleiss knows we know about the music, so he may have changed it up. There was a lot of discussion about "the music" the last two seasons... so it may not be the definitive clue it used to be.

I heard guitar too but I don't know if it is "the" music....anyway I think they played it for both Bevin and Tessa so I don't think thats the right indicator anymore.

Shayne got a much nicer edit tonight. Instead of seeming completely immature and needy, she seemed more human and aware of her own quirks.

They still seem an odd pairing to me, but it reminded me a bit of an 'odd couple' from a movie. You wouldn't imagine them together, but somehow it might work? Hmmm (picturing a movie with Hugh Grant and Kate Hudson).

I will say that he seemed the least awkward with her. Not to say he wasn't interested, it just seemed more natural between them. Oh, regarding the music. That's not what I would consider "the" music, but she got what has been used recently leading up to the final rose ceremony, kind of that expectant, buildy theme? I'd have to go back and listen again, but that's what I thought at first listen.

Of course I am taping the show. I thought it was sweet the way Matt got the rose without her knowing. I also notice when I watch the tape again when he pulled her towards him he kissed her on her shoulder. He also said she make me laugh.

After seeing tonight's show, I feel pretty strongly Shayne is the F1. Unlike some speculation in the show thread, I actually think now he isn't starstruck at all... if anything, his logical side is using her connections/family/career against her in his battle over his feelings. Not to be too crude, but I think it may have come down to which head will have the final say, and the one that does the thinking is losing. I could be wrong, and she could just be the chemistry girl who goes to F3 or F2, but he is acting like a guy who is really trying to "get" her. Even telling her about trying to decide about the rose could be his way of trying to get her to reassure him, or try to establish some power in the relationship as he knows he is losing his heart (kind of like giving her the rose last, last time). She is the "American Girl" (California Barbie Blonde) that is his fantasy, even if there is a slight love-hate component there.

Not that I don't like her - actually a bit more tonite than last week - but still not very convincing that she is 'for real'

This is the most transparent, pathetic and fake Bachelor/ette show I've ever seen!! And I have see them all. I was literally laughing out loud at the star-struck git and the fake bimbo.

If this is the best Fleiss could do is to give us bought and paid for, then the series if OVER!!!

I will just enjoy the trainwreck and work on my Shayne acting technique.

She has three looks -- head cocked left, head cocked right and head lowered. Please!!
