Seeing that this is the Shayne thread, I'm assuming you are talking about Shayne. She already had her rose from her one-on-one date, so really she didn't get the first rose.

I think she was edited like that to help create the storyline---i mean there's the question--is she ready to commit and settle down---similar to ian's will he pop the question, is he a drifter--will she go with the dreamer and drifter or the stable man...fleiss is creating the storyline to show the love story play out
