I did notice the two of them sitting on the same chair when I watched the show for a second time this week. <note to self: get a life> Also, when Shayne was in the bathroom talking to Amy, Amy said something to the effect of "He asks about you whenever you aren't in the room..." There's definitely something between the two of them. I'm really looking forward to seeing their interactions this coming week.

I think he seemed like he could be in trouble with a few girls from the get go... including Amanda and Shayne. I think all the things he said about his chosen sound more like it's Amanda, but then again that could be because I like her better

You know I didn't catch that Amy comment in the bathroom until I uh...watched the entire episode in closed captioning LOL She said, every time you were not in the room, he was asking where you were You never know, but I see no reason to say that if it weren't true.

I really liked Shayne in the first show. However her temper tantrums in this weeks show were of concern to me. I Hope it gets better this week!:

LOL. Glad I'm not the only one then!

I agree. I posted right after the show aired on the west coast on Monday night that the women actually were really sweet to Shayne from what we saw. Makes me think that she's a nice girl and at that point at least got along well with the girls in the house.

Thanks for the caption. I am not writing Shayne off at all. As strange as it may sound, there was something "healthy" in the way that Matt and Shayne "had it out" in the casino. It sounded like a very real dispute between 2 people who care enough not to just blow each other off.

ETA He sounded like Mr. Knightly scolding Emma, and we all know how that ended up.

I just remembered that the writers strike was still going on when the show was being filmed and even when they hit Vegas.

So, even though I don't know the Hollywood rules and regs, I don't think Shayne was hired to be a drama actress; I don't think Fleiss (people) encouraged her to play up that scene for the sake of the show. I think she was being genuine when she said she is there for the right reasons, and that she was so disappointed at losing her chips and over- reacted. I think she came close to being considered for elimination that round but Matt wasn't ready to let her go without getting to know her better. I think the winery proves to be a turn around, and she becomes a serious contender for his heart. I have completely ruled out the whole actress agenda and am sticking with my first impression. I liked her right from the start, I like the way she (seems to from previews) control the emotional fireworks between Marshana and Chelsea in Idaho and I think there is good reason to see her go to F3.

I am not willing (at this point) to put her at F1 (I still think Amanda will take him by storm) but I think he does develop strong feelings for Shayne.

I agree Mike'sgirl. There definitely is a strong attraction between Shayne and Matt and I think it is very possible that it's real (or as real as it can be in this situation) and not an act. I love the screencaps that Blondie posted of the look Matt gives her as Robin plays the piano. It would take a very tough girl not to fall for that!!
Right now though, I'm wondering if she is going to be edited like Bevin was. Strong chemistry and attraction. I find it interesting that the purposefully edited out Matt's comment to Amanda of "you're killing me". Obviously they don't want us to hear that at this time. The question is why? Is it because they want us to get hooked on the Matt/Shayne chemistry edit before they show any type of chemistry with Amanda so that we discount Amanda?
Can't wait for Monday's show!
