I've thought about this and think that "all is not what it seems" may even be applied to Shayne,for the fact alone that just about everyone has judged her
and it isn't but almost the third show. I like Shayne- she's beautiful, smart and has a sense of humor. I would have behaved worse than she did at the thought that I had to compete just for alone time, especially when girls were doing just about anything to capture his attention. She had a meltdown, so what. I've had plenty of them. It's how she handled hers that has shown me more than anything else. If she was as immature, she would have not been able to recover from this meltdown and would not have be able to tell Matt she was sorry. I still have meltdowns, the change of life has made me have more than when I was younger.

I read a post saying that in describing his chosen one in an interview, Matt said something like, "The moment I saw her I knew I was in trouble." That to me describes his instant attraction to Shayne.

when Shayne approached him the first nite and said 'hello gorgeous' and they kissed on both cheeks he asked ' and your name is ' or something to that effect- and she said ' Shayne' - and he said 'you're shayne - thats a beautiful name' ....to me he could have said- oh your name is shayne thats beautiful' I in no way assumed that meant he had prior knowledge of her. I think people just read too much into it.
