Actually the research is based on the development of the frontal lobe and indicates it is the last region of the brain to fully develop. The frontal lobe is important becasue that is the area of the brain we use to make informed decisions. The research indicates full development is somewhere in the early to late 20's. An arbitrary boundry at best but one to work with. And you are right the original study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in the Spring of 2001.

I still don't get why people say this...is it because he said, "So you're Shayne" or whatever it was? I took that as him just repeating it back to her. You know when you say something aloud, it's easier to remember. Am I missing something?

Based on the infliction of his voice I tend to agree with those who feel that he was informed that their would be someone named Shayne in the group. IMO, it did not sound as if he was repeating back her name in introduction.

He frequently would repeat a girl's name after she gave it to him. Shayne was the only one of the 25 he said "You're Shayne." That's all. You are right. It could be just coincidence.

I agree long and cat.I don't think this is an indication of him knowing her. I assume he negotiates the party with a producer by his side prompting him as to their names. He approached her and said you are Shayne because he had just been told by the producer!

Talk about taking something and running with it, yowza.

Blondie has placed some VERY telling screencaps of Matt in the Screencaps Only thread. His eyes are focused on Shayne during Robin's piano recital. Oh, my...he surely does fancy her. It looks as though he is to the undressing her with his eyes part.

Looks, to me, like he'd rather be somewhere else...or rather with someone else

I also noticed before he gives the rose to Chelsea, he and Shayne are sitting on the same chair...was there nowhere else to sit?
