What does that have to do with dating multiple women?

I should of explained it better. Dating the multiple women is a part of the show as we know it of now. It's obvious we only saw a small portion of the clip & there was more to their exchange. I think in the heat of the moment he probably didn't phrase it like he should of. I personally think what Matt was relaying in an all encompassing way is the fact that there will always be women around him not that he'll be dating them & cheating. He therefore, needs a woman that will not show the kinda of jealousy that will be damaging to their relationship.

He did kiss her, you are right.
However, not everything we see in scs is shown on tv. He kissed Chelsea too and that was not shown.
They edit out and in--splice and dice --what they want us to see.

they edit things out sometimes, for various reasons--looks like he will be getting plenty of kissing time with shayne next week. They look to be having a very nice romantical evening. Can't wait.

I laughed when she said, "You're killin me, Matt. Killin me." Of course she was going to be the last rose...that's what they do on The Bachelor. Who had the most drama?? Well, you have to hold your breath for hours and then get the last rose.

There has to be moments between Matt and these girls that we haven't seen! What if something profound and electric happened between Matt and one of these girls that we weren't privy to? As much as I would like to think that Fliess would show us this special moment, I somehow doubt it. After all, those moments are electric to only the two people involved and appear very mundane to those of us watching from the outside. I know when first dating my husband, he brushed his fingers against my hand and I just quaked inside! Ordinary to everyone else, life-altering for me!

Exactly! We didn't see what brought on the drama, we saw chopped up clips. We wasn't privy to the whole conversation from the beginning to the end. I think what she was feeling was some sparked her heart, not that she had fell head over heels in love with him already. She knows it's something that she would like to explore but being in that situation with all the other girls is harder than she imagined. I was curious as to why she was telling Matt that she didn't have to be there, so when I heard him say that he had questioned her intentions, then I understood the conversation.

To me, Shayne is very sweet and endearing. Has anyone considered that she's been raised by a show biz family and may be looking for a "normal" life and to get away from Hollywood? She may be ready to settle down. To Shayne's benefit, we haven't seen her all over the tabloids like we do other young Hollywood starlets.

I seriously doubt that appearing on The Bachelor will sky rocket her career into award winning roles! We haven't seen any previous Bachelor contestants become the new Hollywood "It" girl.

As for her behavior last night ... how many women on this board (at any age) would be able to handle the same scenario? When multiple women like (or are falling in love) with the same guy, it's going to get ugly. One night, I saw two fifty year old women get into a fist fight because they were interested in the same man! Living in the sorority house in college was another great example. Girls would talk to a guy at a social and declare the guy as "their boyfriend." My husband's ex-wife (had an affair and left him) had the nerve to show up at happy hour with her married boyfriend in tow and cause a scene because he had moved on and was dating! National TV or not, women are going to fall for guys, get possessive and say or do crazy things.

Shayne may have sounded/acted immature in some opinions. At least she had the guts to address it with Matt directly, apologize later and didn't make negative comments about anyone else.

Looking at Matt when he was talking with Shayne, he looked good and I think I would have act the fool.
