| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** Just a guess, but she did make the comment that she'd been to Vegas hundreds of times, so she probably runs on the perimeter of the Hollywood crowd. Most 22 year olds I know that live in LA have not been to Vegas hundreds of times. |

| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** I was really turned off by Shayne's sense of entitlement, and I was glad that Matt called her out. She knew what she signed up for, so suck it up or leave. I'm glad he said that he's not into the drama. This still makes me believe that Shayne was indeed the "Ringer" for this season to make sure there would be someone at the end in case Matt had not made another connection. She is a lovely young woman, but last night her immaturity showed a bit. |

| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** agreed cat--matt took her aside and asked what was bothering her and she replied with she's not used to having to do this--which none of them are--people deal with things differently--some like to be upfront and open about how they're feeling while others let it simmer inside---not saying either way is better or worse, but people are different and the way we handle situations we are in differs. I think shayne seems to want to be there--genuinely--and much of the aftershock about her acting on this show stems from the fact that she is indeed an actress--but, i don't feel she is acting--i feel she is trying to deal with a weird situation in the best way she can. |

Maybe it's tangent to trying to catch The Hills going on at the same time but the whole Hollywood association does not set me at ease with her from the get-go. Way too much pre-occupation with many of these Hollywood kids getting their moment of fame. I just completely distrust Shayne's sincerity.

| Re: Shayne **Spoilers** I am trying to give Shayne the benefit of the doubt like I would any other bachelorette. ![]() My cousin grew up best friends with Fred Savage(The Wonder Years) and he and his sister did many commercials during their growing years. To them it was just "life as usual". They grew up fairly grounded and nice kids. Yes, their culture was different than mine growing up, but I don't think they were any more or less spoiled or bratty. | Re: Shayne **Spoilers** I think some of their conversation was chopped up. What she was saying to him made no sense to me. Did anyone notice it? She said: "there are 20 girls downstaris waiting for you ( There aren't even 20 girls left and they wouldnt have been downstairs in the casino) hummm and then to come out with, " Do you think I'm going to just stand around and wait". I think some of the conversation between these two was chopped up a bit. Good old editing at it's best. |

"Do you think I am going to wait in the wings for you?" "I am used to getting my way." "I get hundreds of roses." He recognizes and acknowledges her frustration, but he tells her that all the other women are in the same boat. Then he makes 2 important statements when he says that (paraphrased): "The woman I leave here with will have to be able to deal with it" and "The drama side turns me off." Even though it may have been edited and chopped, I suspect that the key points to that conversation were kept in tact.
